    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Is there a way to change my username?

My husband and I are going to start selling animals, and were going to do it through a different name that encompasses our "whole reptile business", instead of just my personal online alias.

Is there a way to do so that way, instead of posting under "Riyeko" it can be something else??

Any ideas would be nice and welcome.

BTW im still asleep in the head and on crappy internet, so if there is a way that someone can do it themselves through the UserCP, I just have honestly not looked or messed with it since it usually takes 15 minutes for a page to load... and im not in the mood to do that with something of this matter.

Yes, the option of changing usenames is available to paid members (only). It is a change that has to be done by WebSlave, contact him via PM.
Also, if your husband is going to participate here - even if only to post an occasional ad - he will have to register & use his own account.
 
Yes, that is correct.

It is one of the perks I offer for paid memberships, and honestly, I DO have to offer something to try to entice members into becoming paying members.

And yes, I know some people will simply try to create a new registration with the desired new name they want, but when I see them, I just block the registration. Otherwise what would be the point of my requirement concerning paid memberships? And honestly, I have had some people try to register their new name several times in that manner, and I had to just put my foot down and BAN that new member name they wanted. I guess maybe they thought they were being cute about it. So now they CAN'T use that name at all here.

And yes, there have been times when some people got by with registering their new member name in this manner that I didn't catch at registration. Well, when that happens, and I find out about it, I just merge the new account back into their old account and delete that new member name.

Not trying to be harsh about this, but I've got to make ends meet too.
