In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Charles Ball Selling Black-headed pythons from PA Buyers Beware!

Ok ...last post...

For all of you "educated" herpers who have been working with herps more than twenty years, you should know this. If not..SHAME ON YOU!!! A number of us veteran herpers have had many problems over the years with the airlines. Sometimes they freeze our animals and sometimes they cook the animals. Over the years many of us have developed relationships with the upper-management with the airlines so that if an animals dies at the other end and we can prove that it is negligence on the part of the airline we can recover a "portion" of the declared value. Once again you have to have friends. Writing on this forum aint gonna cut it.

To many of you new kids on the block who have nothing better than to write on this stupid forum about things you don't know and about things that you will probably never know... TOO BAD!

A mind is a terrible thing to waste...do some research sometime and but the damn XBOX down. MAYBE you will learn somthing and then again... Get over ...get a life for Pete's sake...OK ...off to finish my hedges....

I find this line disturbing.

If I were to by a BHP from you (which I would never do after reading this) and I took it home and probed it and found out it was not the correct sex, would I get a refund? A replacement? Or would you tell me to go screw since your responsibility ends the minute you make the sale?

Charles, I was trying to refrain from a pissing match with you, but your lies are out of control. Friends in the airlines? You had to use one of my friends names to ship the animal on Delta Airlines because you are not a known shipper! Please stop embarrassing yourself with your ridiculous posts! And age is no excuse for your ignorance! It is the new kids on the block that keep this hobby new, interesting and ever changing. I think you stand alone! Go feed your snakes!

Man, this Charles is one frighteningly delusional person I am afraid...
As I posted before, BOI does serve a purpose and it sure is being served here!

Sorry you got tied up with this SOB, Tom, but hopefully your bringing the experience here will help to protect the rest of the reptile community from this blazing idiot...

If this post wasn't such a pathetic fallicy it would be funny!
Sure you're not best buds with Bill Gates too? The resume on your website (horrible attempt at a multiple use site by the way) would seem to indicate that's a possibility. Are we supposed to be impressed with all this self-aggrandizement? If that's your intent Charles, you missed the mark completely...anybody with an ounce of common sense can see your delusional psychosis summarized nicely in your above post...thanks for that!

P.S. Your unearned arrogance just makes you all that more pathetic...get some help!

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can explain to us all how a snake can get in this condition during the very short time it was in the buyer's possession???

Baby snakes often fast for a week or two after being relocated and never come close to looking like this...I can't believe this snake EVER ate ANYTHING--failure to thrive--nature culling it out perhaps?

I don't understand why i was quoted here.
Would you please explain.
Thank you

Christopher...not sure what you are talking about...in your post, you quoted one of my prior posts...who is quoting you? Why are you quoting me?

Problem?

You quoted me..why
With what you wrote it is confusing to tell exactly why YOU QUOTED ME.
I asked nicely for a specification as to what you were sayingBecause i dod not understand.
Thank you

OK Christopher...I got ya...I originally quoted your post mainly because it referred to the terrible condition of the snake in question...you also alluded to the fact that it was "let to get that way" by the breeder...agreed with your post, but still don't understand how food or lack thereof can get a snake in this condition this fast...

Chondrolie,
You think your moot point and misdirection fools anybody? That statement has absolutly nothing to do with this thread/problem. The airline didn't kill the snake, YOU did.

Those who have been in this business for 20 years know that what you said is mostly BS. Even those that ship tons of stuff on a daily basis, maybe get to know the "counter person", but to become chums enough with the people who "call the shots" and give refunds on an item (live) that with almost every shipper is not covered by guarantees? Not that common. I know at least a couple big breeders who insist that even if it was the shipper that was responsible for the death, that they insist you contact then directly and they will handle the situation. They do this because they know even though they ship a lot of stuff through the carrier, and the company makes a lot of money off of them, that it's still a very tenuous situation, and they know they might just boot the account. This is the more common, and believable situation, than you being chums enough that you can just call your "buddy" to kick you a nice refund. That you couldn't even ship under your own name is the icing on your BS, and makes your "I'm a famous breeder, who has connections" garbage, funny as hell.

I don't believe i mentioned food or lack there of at all?Iam unsure if you are putting words in my mouth or not.I am also unsure if you are now trying to antagonize me?
I thought my original post was very sincere,
They are a wonderfull snake and production wise they are in their infancy.I and many others feel for the animal ,and am concerned how and why it came to be in that condition.
Apart from the well being of the animal,
it also comes down to customer satisfaction.
Which is something people seem to forget in this day and age.

100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED period .

dude, take a deep breath and chill out a bit. She quoted you because she was agreeing with your statement and then was asking if anyone can please explain to her how that would even be possible. Probably knowing it's not possible, unless the snake was already on deaths door (by the seller).
