In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You can change the number of posts displayed per page in your User CP. If you set it to 40 posts per page, you only have two pages at this point.

Barry was agreeing with you in regards to post #41. I think you read something wrong.

Most assuredly, thank you .I was just unsure as to how it was being said.I was only asking for clarification.I didn't mean to get my panties in a bunch, but i tend to be quick on the defence sometimes and i mistook what was said
I apologize.

OK Christopher...I got ya...I originally quoted your post mainly because it referred to the terrible condition of the snake in question...you also alluded to the fact that it was "let to get that way" by the breeder...agreed with your post, but still don't understand how food or lack thereof can get a snake in this condition this fast...

My mistake dude,
I was reading more into it then was there.
I apologize

dude, take a deep breath and chill out a bit. She quoted you because she was agreeing with your statement and then was asking if anyone can please explain to her how that would even be possible. Probably knowing it's not possible, unless the snake was already on deaths door (by the seller).

allright..been a long day thanks ,while i was reading what happend today here, and coming across my name quoted I just interpreted the wrong way.
Hope there was no harm done.

Whoops. I guess that would be a he. Sorry Barry.

LOL...no problem...faceless e-mails can cause that occasionally...

Appreciate everyone's help in clarifying things with Christopher...I stopped as it seemed I was just making it worse...

Hey dude you can call me Chris ...nice to meet ya.

Tom thanks for answering some of the questions.. I looked at Charles site yesterday when I first saw this thread and didn't see any Terms of Service. Was wondering if he sent you any and from your response he didn't. So without any posted terms Charles can sort of do what he wants in this situation which does suck. From what you've said and other who saw this animal we'd have to guess that what caused it's death occurred before you received it.

Now if Charles wants to show he is the big guy in the business he claims to be he can step up and replace the animal and apologise . I doubt he'll do either but ya never know and I do hope he'll see that- one- you are owed the animal and -two- he's shooting himself in the well hell both feet with his responses here.

Wow Charles, now I am really impressed. It is a bummer we are a bunch of forum folks without 20 years of expertise in the reptile industry, unless you count the amount of experience as a whole that we have and contribute to each other. Looking at it that way, your little 20 years is a speck in the shadows of our hundreds of combined years. Especially when there are some here that have been involved in reptiles for well over 30 years and are willing to share their knowledge and personal experiences with everyone.

Call from the airport, what BS.

God forgive if the buyer, like myself, doesn't have a cellphone.....

Actually, calling or checking on the package, AT THE AIRPORT, is not an uncommon request. I ask this in My TOS. This to me is to know that Delta did their job right, and the animal was received in good health. (but I still guarantee COMPLETE satisfaction for 2 more weeks. PERIOD!)

It's the lack of any sort of guarantees beyond that which would make me hesitant. Basically, if it's alive when it arrives, that is the end of all guarantees. That leaves a whole lot of room for error, having the seller still come out ahead. Typical "money talks" Bull Crap!

Charles. Instead of reading along, and not responding in a civil manner, (which I promise will be your undoing) you should be more willing to work this out. I wonder if you even realize the damage you have already done to your "future" with your ridiculous responses to this problem.
You have shown a blatant disregard and total empathy for your customers satisfaction. You won't be doing this for long My friend. I can assure you this. :D

I would just like to comment here on an event
that took place at my local airport last week.

I recieved several packages via air freight.
I went to open one of the boxes and was told in no
uncertain terms "That due to new regulations they
do not allow the opening of any recieved packages inside
the airport". This was the first time I had ever heard of
this and asked when it was implemented. Just over a week
ago was the answer I got.
I can't speak for any other airports but it is possible
that others may follow suit.

Just a heads up that it may not always be possible to
check your goods at the airport itself.

Rory it is the same at most airports in NY as of 04/06, Now back to Charles, I'm not a Python person any more, NY saw to that  But one thing is apparently clear, That Black head was in dire straights before it left your place, And you damn well know it. So your Dog and Pony show isn't flying here, As for you saying N.E.R.D and Casey Lazik have the same TOS is total B.S You see Charles these people have something that you seem to lacking it's called CLASS,You Sir are a Thief and a Liar I also noticed you pulled your ads From K.S did someone over there get to you or was it thread here that made people see what and who you really are ?? The only thing I see you doing now is your Computer Stuff, and leaving the Reptiles to the experts. You say you have over 30 years in this business, Well Bud you need a refresher course. :>poke2<: Tom I hope this all works out for you in the end Good Luck.

Interesting info there. I'll have to look into that out here. In El Paso, the Delta cargo is seperate from the main terminal, so it may not be so bad. I'll have to look into that though.

I do have one question for the buyer.

Did you or did you not read and agree to the TOS BEFORE you paid for your snake?

Personally, I think that snake was substandard BUT, if the buyer agreed to certain terms and then did not follow them, as much as we wish to fault the seller for crappy goods, HE hasn't violated his crappy TOS.

Whose is the responsibility for whom one does business with? The one who robs you or the one who allows himself to be robbed?

I repeat, crappy snake, no doubt of it, but I also repeat, did the buyer violate what he knew to be TOS?

Wes, did you look at the seller's webpage? I looked all over and couldn't find any kind of TOS anywhere. I believe others have said the same.

That's why I was asking.

If the buyer went into this with the knowledge that he HAD to call from the airport or there was NO guarentee, then the buyer made a big mistake, two of them. He went ahead with the purchase and then did not follow through with what he knew to be necessary.

I'm not trying to paint the buyer as a bad guy, that snake was crap, but IF the buyer messed up by making this purchase to begin with, he too must shoulder some responsibility for this transaction.

People, IF you don't check the TOS when you buy, it's YOUR fault if you violate it.
IF there is NO TOS, get something in writing, move on, or take your chances but don't be surprised when things go bad.

A good deal is a good deal but a crappy TOS is a pass no matter how good a deal waits in the wings.

The seller has been asked as to how the buyer was supposed to be aware of the TOS, as they do not appear to have been posted anywhere. He has not replied. It may be that there were no agreed upon terms, only assumed ones, which leaves the buyer holding an empty bag all the same.

Maybe he's busy trying to slip a link into his site somewhere and just say we all missed it the first time. He sure is avoiding the questions being asked of him.
