Sorry to disagree, but that is a bunch of hypothetical ninny nonsense. If Chuck had the time to log onto his MYSPACE page on the 14th (as was proven in a previous post) , then I cant see any real emergency that would have prevented Chuck or Amber from contacting Kevin on the 14th to let him know what the story was with shipping the anoles out. Kevin clearly stated he has been emailing them everyday to find out what was going on with the shipment.

There are legitimate emergencies. Logging onto MYSPACE isn't one of them in my book.

I've not lied yet, Chuck, and I was scathing in my description of you-so be it. It was my intention. You'll receive no apology nor will I ask that this post be removed-live with it. Perhaps you enjoy the ype of lifestyle that allows you to sit on your ass and wait for a delivery or a phone call telling you that your address couldn't be found-I do not. What you have cost ME is a HELLUVA lot more that a buncha damn anoles that you caught in your backyard. And all your "no worries" and "It will go out on Tuesday" are worth about what your business acumen is worth.

He contacted Chuck at our old email from an oooold ad that never got deleted,we don't typically even list feeder anoles anymore but tried to help this guy out with feeders. I do business and have a registered business in the state of SC under TriCounty Exotics. ATS or Allthatslithers is old and no longer intact it is merely our fauna username now.
I personally do not check nor use the old emails any longer so that would be an impossibility. I also signed into chucks myspace to check for messages from his dtr who lives out of state. Chuck has family seperate from me. So please stop making assumptions. you know nothing about the situation. It truly isn't any of your business. As for the comments about Chuck's profession, and our apprearance I am sorry some of you dislike it, however I think that makes you what they refer to as a bigot.

Chuck is one of the most honest people I have ever met in my life, he works his ass off and makes well over $100 an hour doing those nasty tattoo things so the anoles weren't a make or break situation for us...not worth it. As far as us being rural,yes we are. It wouldn't be too difficult to figure out if you looked. As far as phone numbers, you never investigated it. If you had why would you have consumated a business dealing with someone who has numbers from two states? Not sure if it was you or Chuck who made the typo on the number but shit happens. Had you tried you might have figured it out.

OK-this was the impression I got from some of the postings in here. I intended to piss him off and force him to respond by my comments and I told him that in my last email-that I would do what I could to make sure that no one else made this mistake.
I will remove this posting and admit we didn't make a very good go of it. But I would ALSO like for YOU to admit that you had told me they would ship on Tuesday. I emailed you until Friday (mail doesn't run here on weekends). I had no way of knowing if they had been shipped and were dying in a box somewhere ( I once had FedEx tell me they couldn't find my address on Friday -even tho I'd called and gave explicit directions-and had to drive 120 miles out of my way to get my visa so I could fly to Africa the next day).
The issue here wasn't that Charles has tattoos, nor that 100 dollars is a small figure to him or I. The issue isn't the anoles but the animals that I buy them for that have not be switched over to pinkie mice and the fact that for three days I sat at home waiting on the offside chance that I got a phone call asking me where I lived-I didn't screw my address up and GPS's just don't cover my neck of the woods. But considering the emails I WOULD like you to aknowledge that it was inconsiderate REGARDLESS of the cost or the fact that they were common (especially since you had time to check facebook on the 14th ) and that when one deals in live animals (ok so they AREN'T carpet pythons) of any kind it behooves you to do what you can to insure that they don't die from your negligence. I will remove the post-I will no longer respond to this post. Good luck with your business and I hope the lesson wasn't too costly for either of us. Also I wasn't aware Chuck had tattoos. And it wasn't until I posted that someone said he worked at a tattoo parlor. I used to when I was younger and I certainly don't denigrate him because of that.

Allthatshitters accepted your order and dropped the ball on this. They provided you with inaccurate contact info and you did what you could to find out what was going on with your order. They accepted your order regardless of how old their advertisement was that you responded to. They promised you a date for shipping and they missed the date without any legitimate excuse for it.

They lose, you win, you owe them nothing, no apology, no nothing. Get your money back and find someone more reliable and dependable. Its obvious this is just a side gig for them to make a few bucks on what they can collect off mother earth in their own backyard.

They say they were trying to help you out? BS. Rather Charlie boy sent his wife to tell you that because he's just too busy chasing anole's to help fellow hobbyist. Yeah...ok...righto...whatever.

When you contacted his tattoo parlor all he had to say was I'm extremely busy but I'll call you back or email you tonight. You got the run around for $97 bucks.

I was not involved in this until this post came about and you were saying outrageous things about US,myself included. I don't know what exact arrangements you had with Chuck.
Chuck did not lie to you about the phone numbers. If anything he made a typo in one which most people would have figured out,particularly if you did in fact reach the shop as you stated. I suppose noone else has ever made a typo. I think if someone were so adament about trying to decieve you they would not supply any phone number let alone their place of employment and home numbers.
AS for you Mr. Kimmel..we don't collect our own backyard unless it is occassion feeders for stubborn lizard eaters but thanks for being yet again a judgemental and assumptive ass. We don't list feeder anoles...that was years ago in FL..you do comprehend that right? We used to sell them to our customers who needed feeders, we also send extra and have sent them for free so people could get things switched over. Oh yes, we are getting independently wealthy off of backyard anoles..right-o!
Chuck doesn't tell me to say anything and I believe you perhaps didn't comprehend that one of his co-workers answered the shop phone. Yes Mr. Gezner when they are busy at the shop they can tend to act bothered by phone calls, don't worry I get the same response as you.

I might of missed it but I'm not aware of anyone stating anything negative about the tattoos. I think there was at least one compliment on his work.

Anyway, I don't think it is a issue or something someone should hold against anyone. As far as I'm aware while looking over previous threads, there hasn't been any other negative complaints. You have many positive transactions posted.

I can understand a emergency. I can also understand a customer believing that he/she may have been scammed when a delivery date is missed without contact.

I think what others were pointing out was that they noticed activity online while this emergency was occurring.

The best approach, In my opinion, would have been just to apology and make the situation correct. That's what you just did and when the customer receives the funds that should be it.

Hopefully future transactions are smooth for all. Maybe, you guys can come up with a game-plan for future emergencies to let your customers know what's up.
