Yea, I talked to Chuck a few times about a trade at some point. He seemed okay at first, until I gave him my phone number. I'll admit, I hate talking on the phone and avoid it at all costs, but he called me DAILY trying to charge me way too much for animals. I told him I didn't want to spend X amount so I wasn't interested. He kept calling. I was downsizing my collection around that time so I could get the animal I wanted and he emailed me pretty much bashing me and telling me he wouldn't sell to me anyway because I'm not serious enough to keep an animal anyway. Whatever...
He also gave me a sexist vibe, he kept saying I should get babies because "a girl like you" (referring to me) doesn't want a big snake she doesn't know, you know cos it's dangerous and all... I've had large constrictors many times, mostly ones I didn't raise and I had no trouble. He kept saying "someone like you" over and over, it really started getting on my nerves.
I kept ignoring his calls and messages until he finally quit calling... Oh yea, and when he did get me on the phone he made sure to tell me all about how he is the only one with REAL Sulawesi's and how NERD got theirs from him... Yeah, that's a sure red flag.
