    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey Rich , Just wanted to know if you knew the chatroom isnt coming up? I knew you were thinking of axeing it just wondered if you did or just didnt know it was down .
it redirects back to the main page when you try to access it

It's probably down because of the server move. Kind of got my hands tied until my danged Comcast ISP updates their DNS info.

Can you see the banner ads running on this site now? I'm kind of shooting in the dark trying things.

Banners are back up and running , Dont sweat the chat i figured was due to doing the change over just figured id let you know it wasnt working just think ... lol when its all said and done you can go back to being to bizzy doing stuff to remeber it happened lol
 
I think I know what the problem is with the chat system. When it was moved from the old server, HerpChat.com went onto the volume /home2 instead of /home. So the internal configuration links are failing. If the guy just moves it to /home, it should start right back up. When you have two hard drives on a Linux box, the software will often try to share the load by copying domains onto the volumes and alernate them. Just bad luck that the one domain that had an internal link referencing back to the volume level went to the wrong volume.

Shouldn't be hard to fix.
