    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey all,

Jumping back into Retics after a 5 year break. Getting ready to set up the new snake room and trying to plan out what I will fill it with. Decided on starting with a 1.2 trio of Retics and after looking through all the morphs, prices, possibilites and picking my "affordable" favorites the master plan is this:

Male Lavender Albino Tiger

Female Super Tiger Het Albino

Female Sunfire - These things are amazing.

If I've done my squares right a few years down the road I should be able to produce:

(Lavender Albino Tiger X Super Tiger Het Albino)
Tiger Het Albinos
Super Tiger Het Albinos
Albino Tigers
Albino Super Tigers

(Lavender Albino Tiger X Sunfire)
Normal Het Albinos
Tiger Het Albino
Sunfire Het Albino
SUNTIGER Het Albino

This sound right?

And you'll get all 3 phases of clark from a het x lav, (statistically speaking)

On the 3 phases of Clark... Are the Whites only throwing Whites and the Purples only throwing Purples? I was under the impression any one of the three could produce all three.. (But remember its been awhile.)

Whites can throw purples, and vise versa. Here's the rundown from what I know

WhitexWhite: 50% whites, 25% lavs and 25% purples
LavxLav: 50% lavs, 25% whites and 25% purples
PurplexPurple: 50% purples, 25% lavs and 25% whites
 
When Mr. Clark bred his W.C. lav male to the F1 offspring he got all 3 phases.

Only other Genetics question would be some clarification on the Sunfires. I'm reading it is an "Incomplete Dominant" trait. I take this to mean the offspring that don't end up being actual Sunfires still gain some benifits of a Sunfire parent, cleaner paterns, adjusted coloration, etc. Is that assumption correct?
 
its a co-dom gene. Hence the super sunfires :) (more gold, less white dashes, I think its like 13 or less that is one of the indicators of the super sun)
 
you can, in some clutches, see normals with sunfire influence. those are usually the result of very selective breeding of the nicest, cleanest sunfires.

I just couldn't get over the look of the Platinums... :D

- Platinum Tiger Het Albino (this is the one I can't wait for)

White Albino Tiger x Suntiger (if not het)
- Normal Het Albino

If she is het then the clutch should add these possibilities:

It's crossed my mind. Have to see what's out there next year.

I got the neighbour's busted fridge given to me yesterday to start making my incubator so I could be ready for eggs by then. :)
 
Yay :D fridge incubators are the best imo.

And even just get like a tiger het albino. Give your boy some practice :)
