I have two turtles housed together, a Twistneck, and a DBT.
Both sub adults...around 5inches each.
Before anyone here tells me I can't leave turtles of different species together, let me say I have been doing this for years. Even with hatchlings.
Lately though, I have noticed this cheesy growth on the legs of both turtles. It appears though it's sheeding skin, but I'm thinking it's a fungus. It's very thick and white.
And on both turts. Everything else seems normal with the two turtles. Appetite, basking etc. Although the twistneck is a bit sluggish lately. I attribute that to seasonal occurences.
Anyone have any ideas that might help treat this mess, or at least identify what this is?
Thanks
Rob
