    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im getting a pastel this year, what do I look out for, I`ll be choosing from pictures. Do I look for more blushing, or that its more yellow? Im buying from a reputable US breeder, so no worries on that score;-))
Any input or [pics at all would be most helpfull;-))

I personsally look for both. You have to remember that once they are older they will darken up a bit. I would look for the most yellow I could find. Probably would want to stay away from the more orangish ones. I personally haven't hatched any out to see the actual color variences and how it changes as the animal grows, but this is how I have come to understand it. Ill get to watch my Pastels grow hopefuly in a few weeks!!! :)

This is a male I got at about 2 months old. He is now almost 2yrs old and has not lost much of his color at all. I will breeding him soon to see what his offspring looks like.

Another pastel I have has lost alot of its yellows and the bellyline turned more of a tan as it got older. It still has very light eyes and a pale tongue.

I was told that as long as an animal (Ball Python) carries the Pastel gene, it will throw some Pastel babies that look better than others.
 
I couldnt complain, it sounded kinda neat. We already have a cue ball, so all we need are a few solids and a bunch of stripes.
 
Really cute babies and the dad ahs beautifull blushing too.
I have picked my wee guy and IM just waiting for tHe paperwork to clear at this end (UK)
