    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Chris Johnson and Top Shelf Exotics A++++

I don't know if I should even post my excellent experience with Chris to this thread...now that it has been tainted...
No offense Tosha...but emails may go unanswered when someone is busy...phones rarely do...

Anywho...

I received a female dumeril's boa from Chris today...she is AMAZING...great specimen...and good sized compared to my other 04's...
Shipped perfectly...safely...well packaged and warm...
FedEx delivered her to the main office...instead of to my office (slightly different addresses...never happened before) but that isn't Chris's fault..he had the address correct...FedEx guy just sucked...LOL

All communication was great...I just happened to buy her when shipping started back up for the year...so I KNOW how busy he has been with getting animals out...but he got me in as quickly as possible...and here she is...
Never have had a problem with Chris responding to emails...

The other thing...I got this girl from an auction for the Roylance Fund on the Top Shelf Exotics site...
Chris put all the money I spent on this girl towards Stephen Roylance and his family...while they were at the Daytona show last year, their house and reptile business was being completely destroyed by the hurricane...

They lost almost everything...

So if that doesn't make him a REALLY great guy...I don't know what does...
 
Least we could do...... There are more Roylance fund auctions in my signature, Jim from Home Grown Herps and Ben Seigel have also put up some fine specimens, most of which end today.... Keep your eyes peeled though, more to come.

That I emailed Chris last night, Patrick returned my email within a few minutes, and Chris followed up this morning we exchanged an email regarding shipping prices and completed the transaction without problems. I look forward to getting her! Thanks Chris!

I am happy we were able to meet your expectations this time around and hope you enjoy your new female holdback. Give us a heads up Wednesday morning when she arrives so we know she made it okay. Thanks for giving us a shot to make up for the previous situation, things have been coming together now that we are finally becoming "current" with orders. :)
 
Just wanted to add.....

That chris ordered some animals and waited patiently for me to get them for him, with very minimal harassing on his part! And of course, very quick payment on Chris' Part, Hope they satisfy ya, Thanks Chris!!
