    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So as I stated before, you made an impulse purchase, regretted it, and decided to back out and demand your money back. Remind me again how this isn't your fault?
 
Also, you claim that you thought it was the first snake. Can you explain why you offered $460 originally, then after he said "this is the only one available" and sent a pic, your offer suddenly changed to $425? If you thought it was the same snake, why would your price change?

This. This part of the buyer's story is not, and will not, add up based on the way it went down. This is simple buyer's remorse... couldn't be more clear cut. He KNEW the "#1" snake wasn't available, AND HE STILL WENT AHEAD AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER AT A LOWER PRICE, WHICH HE WAS GIVEN. He KNEW he wasn't getting the "#1 snake", BEFORE HE EVER PAID AND RECEIVED.

By his own words, he knew he had paid a decent amount of money for a snake that was not top-shelf, and when he saw something AFTER THE FACT that he thought was a better deal on a nicer snake, then AND ONLY THEN did he decide there had been a "bait and switch".

Some BOI situations are sticky... this one is not.
 
Ok, I am going to state something here... as far as me and MY infraction of a word I should not have used..

Chris.. if you think for one second that giving me bad karma and telling me that my use of a word was in appropriate because I don't think you are right in this is going to change my mind, you are sadly mistaken... I have said in a post that it wasn't something I normally do and shouldn't have done... but now all the sudden I get bad karma from you? Son, I believe in a Karma of a whole different kind and its a bigger span then on the internet... if you are not honest enough to accept responsibility for your own actions in this mess (and there ARE wrong doings on your part as well "blackmail" and the cursing like a sailor in your attack on the seller), then trust me, Karma will come back and visit you in the long run..

Im not here to be intimidated by a button you use to retaliate with.. .Im not someone you tried to buy from nor am I someone who would put up with your garbage.

At this point, Chris as changed my opinion of this whole thing..

Chris is an impossible customer who was unable to get the animal he wanted and threw a fit.. Despite the mistakes that were made, it has become blatantly clear that he is extremely vindictive when he doesn't get what he wants or when people don't agree with him. He comes off extremely arrogant when mistakes on both sides are seen by everyone, and refuses to accept that he did anything wrong. He is not a customer that will be easy to please regardless of the situation, as NOTHING will be good enough until he gets the snake that he wants AND the cash he already paid. He is also not someone I would ever want as a customer again, and if I were to EVER breed anything he wanted, know that any request would be denied immediately, as I would not want you as a customer due to your behavior not just with this seller but here.

While my one comment was inappropriate, and so you claimed was insulting to you... your attack and blackmail on the seller, then thinking we are all too stupid to see what your doing, is insulting to me.. though I will not lower your Karma... I will simply hope "KARMA" dosnt bit you too hard in the long run.

I don't know who you are, how old you are, and I don't care... you need to grow up and take responsibility for your own actions.. as you saw in my post after my comment, I apologized. Your bully tactics are garbage and you are now looking ridiculous. *smh*
 
With that said guys, I really need to go shopping.. I NEED gecko therapy after this....(just don't tell my husband)...

I look forward to maybe seeing those beginning emails that were not shown yet.. maybe that has something in it that would help a bit..

I was not given any emails before that one.

I can only post what was given to me by Mr. Maynard. I did not remove or add anything to the post. I really tried to copy and paste them in order. I may of messed that up.

I think he may have responded to the KS ad on their website. You may want to ask him that.

What you see is what I got. Anything added or taken away was not my doing. Attachments where not given to me, except for the one.

then you see the buyer agreeing AFTER THE SELLER SENT HIM PIX OF ALTERNATIVE SNAKES.

I still think there was confusion on both sides and the seller needed to be MUCH clearer on the actual animals for sale but I would say the buyer truly got buyers remorse.
Whatever the case there is no way the seller should have spent the buyers money even BEFORE any shipping took place and buyer confirmed he had received the animal(s) and all was good!

I don't want to assume, but the way the email looks, it just seems as though there was something before it that's all... If it said on the add that he would take $400.. then ok.. but I wanted to make sure and clarify it. :)

(Note - I didn't bother going back to quote them, so the exact wording may have been different)
 
I think there are mistakes on both sides. The ads were relisted and there could certainly have been some confusion. I do think the buyer got very demanding when told the snake wasn't available, with the "no I need that one" response. If a seller tells me a snake is no longer available, that's disappointing but I wouldn't refuse to take no for an answer and demand the snake anyway. It appears in his eagerness he made a purchase he regretted.

However, if the seller hadn't already spent the money and had refunded right away, none of this would be all over the BOI.

I can see why each party was frustrated, but both could have handled things a little better.

Guys, I was going by this.... if this was the first set of emails, then something was missing.. the ONLY other thing I see is from the Seller which is on page 1 first post.. CwnAnnwn posted this first set of emails on page 3 of this thread..

Do you see what Im saying.. I believe the buyer submitted emails but not the ones where the amount was agreed upon... the seller posted on page one, but not the actual emails.... (make sense?) That's where I was getting a bit held up on emails... that's all.

I find it funny.. now 2 bad karma for the SAME "infraction"... something I already apologized for right? Is that your way of harassing me? You like a comment where I asked about emails when it looked like emails were missing.. and you give me bad karma TWICE for the same thing and give me crap via the message you put in there.

Im going to say this.. you can give me all the bad Karma in the world.. My mind wont change... however if you continue to harass me over the same ONE post where I was wrong, when I have already said I was wrong for saying, then you are just doing it to harass me.

I will not get into words with you through a karma app, I will not have words with you via pm.. I will not contact you other then here in this thread.. because this is where you act up the most, and this goes NO WHERE.. as far as I am concerned, I feel for the seller at this point.. while he made a mistake spending the money before the item was shipped (his ONLY actual is mistake as far as I am concerned), you are just too much.. and its a shame he got tied up in a mess with the likes of you.

If you don't like when people don't agree with you, don't make mistakes and plaster them in a forum... I at least own up to mine.

Ok, so I owe you an apology.. my eyes are not so good, and what I thought was your name as the person giving bad Karma, turns out apparently was not. I apologizing for going off on you... I was wrong, and am now more clued in as to how the Karma option works and why, etc.

Keeping on topic though, I do feel that you had part in this, you are not 100% innocent of mistakes.. If perhaps you can see this, as well as the seller sees his mistakes, then maybe you wont be as heated and things can work out.

Again, sorry for my mistake.. :)
