    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

HI People I Just I did a trade with josh and it didn't go so smooth first off he posted a female leachie for sale or trade we worked out a deal I thought was fair for both party's he wanted me to ship first I told him no to ship on the same day he said fine I all so asked about the pics he posted on the leachie I asked why her head was so dirty and he said it was all cleaned up and sent me a pics and it was good but when it came it was very dirty and I asked him and he said it was my flash on the phone that's why it showed it was dirty then I asked for a$50.00 credit and he wasn't very nice about it then I told him lets for get about the trade and I would send back his and he can do the same and then he said he will send me the 50.00 bucks I thought about it and I said no I want to get back my gecko and now he wont do it he sent back a 50.00 refund I just want people to know what has happened to me thanks Richie

I'm confused. Is something wrong with the animal, or is it just dirty?

From what I can see, you were unhappy with the animal and asked for a partial refund of $50 dollars. You then received it. You got the resolution you originally asked for. Unless the animal is unhealthy, or there is more to the story, this does not seem to warrant a bad guy thread.
 
I have a leachie that once in a while likes to dig in the dirt in her cage and bury herself. They are known to do that sometimes. I can't see having some dirt on it for a little while could do any harm. I'm just trying to figure out why a $50 refund would be justified. I've had geckos poop in the container during shipping and had poop stuck on them when I got them, does that mean the seller should have given me a refund for some of what I paid? Also have you notified the other party that you posted this thread?
 
dirty head is when they don't shed right or from bite marks from breeding its takes a lot of care to get her all cleaned up the animal is healthy
my problem is he sent pics from when he first got her not of what she really looks like that my problem
 
I can see how the OP may feel the animal was misrepresented with old pics that don't show a cosmetic imperfection. But my point is, the OP asked for $50 compensation for said imperfection, and got it. That sounds like appropriate resolution to me. Why the bad guy post?
 
IT wasn't that easy to get the refund it was a lot of insulting and some other stuff that's why its a bad guy post but thank you for understanding about the pictures I got a few pms telling me different
 
Richie, do you have any texts or emails showing insults or abusive language? These would potentially show poor character on the part of the seller and allow potential buyers to determine if this is the kind of person they would like to deal with.
 
Well we can't see the insults and what you had to go through so please understand we are just trying to understand. The whole story isn't in your post. Please post screen shots of the whole conversation so we can understand why this warrants a bad guy thread.
 
Richie please use some punctuation, it is hard to read your posts. I'm glad you got your refund. Post any proof of insults otherwise it didn't happen.
 
I see scarring in all pictures, once more I'd expect it in an adult female unless you purchased her as a virgin. I guess what I'm confused by is why it matters since it's visible in the original pictures, and why 50 dollars is required to right this. If I sold a female leachianus as a previous breeder and someone complained about scarring when it is visible in prior pictures, id certainly not pay. Especially since it won't affect health. Just my 2 cents.

I questioned the dirty head in the pictures he posted, he said not to worry and sent me different pics of her without dirty head/scars. But, when I got it, it had really bad scars and a dirty head. At first I said give me a 50.00 credit, but he told me it was absurd and freaked out, so I said send back my gecko and money and I will do the same. He sent sent me the refund of $50.00.after I said I want my gecko back He misrepresented his animal.
 
I don't see why this warrants a Bad Guy thread at all. The gecko looks plump and healthy to me. I could see if she was injured or sick, but just because she had dirt on her head doesn't mean there was anything wrong with her. Josh already issued a $50 refund (which seems to be very generous in this situation), so why are you still complaining?
 
I see scaring in the pics he sent you. We still haven't seen where he insulted you and was rude. Without that I really don't see how he is a bad guy. Scars happen, they weren't open wounds and/or infected were they? I don't see how he misrepresented the animal. Did he advertise it as a virgin?
 
I'd be happy to take that gecko off your hands. It's beautiful. It looks darker in your pics than his, probably due to the lighting. But he gave you what you asked for, so that to me doesn't warrant a bad guy. If you are saying he was rude and cussed you out then post it like people have been asking for for 2 days. Otherwise, he seems like a decent guy.
