    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Anyone dealt with them? Says from "mo", but in email sent to me says from "Maryland." Sent me pictures of adults clearly in a tropical setting... NOT Maryland. also, pictures of babies is also one from Turtle source website. Anyone?
 
Fauna user name? Email address? Full name, phone number etc? Where did you make contact with them? More info = more help

There are 2 strong hints that should suggest steering clear.
1) use of an image stolen from the internet
2) not having a full name (in violation of a policy made for your protection)

Beyond that, any obvious discrepancies should simply make the decision easier.
 
Also users in the classifieds are suppose to include their city and state in the ads.

If they are using Missouri in their profile here and telling you they are in Maryland they are also violating the rules here in addition to not having their full name in their profile.

I think you answered your own questions here.

The profile location is wrong. The image the user is using is taken from someone else. Other pictures shown are located in a tropical environment.

It's a brand new account with no references. I can't find the user name and email account online associated with anything but the one ad here.

The IP address the user is using doesn't suggest Maryland or Missouri.

If I had to guess they didn't know how to abbreviate the state or remembered incorrectly which state they put in the profile when the person emailed you. When you are being dishonest sometimes you forget.

I emailed. It was odd. Asking about papers and gave me an overview of care for red foots. My initial email was if she has A website or images of babies available. She responded back asking how many I wanted.

Seemed off.
 
Def a scam. I'm this person and the first email was the same, it was how to take care of red foots. So I emailed back asking were they were located and how would they like me to pay. The response back was telling me they are in Baltimore Maryland and I could pay by western union/money gram or bit coins.
I just them asking if I could pick them up since I only live 2 hours away and prefer to see them before I buy them. I very much doubt I will get any response at all.
 
Lol I haven't heard back from them on if I could come and pick up the tortoises. I knew as soon as I asked that they would just stop responding.
