    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yes, I certainly DO care. That would be why I spend my money with folks who actually care about the animals....Joe "gave" me a $500 credit with him awhile back....I never used it. I have no desire to support scum like him in ANY way, free, discounted, or otherwise.

And heh, who was running a "get rich quick" scheme? You perhaps need to do some studying up on ol Joe before speaking any more....see who was selling animals he didn't even have, just to see how much quick money he could make....and did you ever watch those MK TV videos? Nauseating to say the least.

And all of this ranting about gasoline and abortion and such......comparing rotten apples to oranges, one has nothing to do with another. Combine that with your penchant for buying from and sticking up for the bad guys, and I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't something a little more "off" than meets the eye even. :notallthe

I seem to remember a comment Joe made back then referring to "taking on" the gecko folks too....I sure wish I could find it, but for some reason I can't find ANY of Joe's posts. Anyone else remember that?
 
Hate to do this, since Clark seems like a really nice guy when i spoke to him on the phone (interested in Knob Tails until i saw powerhouse reptiles in his ad on here) and warned him his partnership with Joe would not be the best idea.

But... i would not pay them $10 for a clown. I would NEVER purchase anything from Clark as long as he is a partner of Joe C.

That's why I said that it was really kind of a shame....he suckered Wes in, then Rick, now Clark. He knew he needed a big name to hide behind to sell anything....

Cathy's right, you need to read up on MKR and how Joe behaved. You can start by reading the threads I linked. If it were me that went into business with Capone (eww, I threw up in my mouth typing that), I would expect 100% for topics like this to come up. Anyone who thinks differently is foolish.

Rob-

It seems like every time I see you have a positive transaction with someone, there seems to be some skeletons somewhere. I could be wrong, but it's just what I've noticed. Of the three that stand out most in my mind, 2 conjure up some very bad sentiments from many on this site (whether personally or by association), the third (Tony Copertino) has scammed several with his fake hets, including myself.

Despite the fact that you no longer defend A.C.E Reptiles since he was outed, you really held my feet to the fire over that guy. It seems as though maybe when you have a good transaction in the future, you should just smile and enjoy it for yourself. Maybe bad luck, coincidence, or something else, but when you spread the "good word" on someone, it seems to work out badly.

Just my humble observation and in no way meant as a dig or attack on you personally.

He even made an appearance in a bad guy thread about Clark's Geckos...everybody remembers Clark - the guy this thread is about, lol. I know with a personality like Joe's involved, it's easy to forget.

I am not worried about him putting the quality people out of business. I will say this here. You get what you pay for. And also Honesty and respect goes a long ways in this community.

Like I said I seen some animals in his ads I really liked. But I knew Powerhouse was owned by Joe. I will not buy them. I will go to BHB, RDR, and what not. Or go to the other breeders out there that stand tall and proud.

I remember him saying he wante people to start breeding these animals and not pay a bunch for the breeders. But if he seen these people sell the babies for less then he was he would just lower the price again.

Ethics play a huge part in this business too.

My money will be spent elsewhere.

I am fairly new to the Ball Python Breeding hobby. I called Clark on the phone last week to purchase one of his lower end morphs. He spent over an hour on the phone with me answering questions and offering advice that I am sure will come in handy. I will not be receiving my new Mojave for at least a couple of weeks, to give her time to feed and get started, but that is what I would expect from the sale of a new born. My impression of Clark is that he is an honest stand-up guy. I am certain I will be purchasing more morphs from him in the near future. In my business I charge clients $250.00/ hr for consulting. Clark spent that time with me free of charge and only talked about the snakes I was interested in. He didn't try to sell me on what he had available. For those of you that don't like him because you can not compete with his prices- Get a life!
 
Jason, clark may have treated you well and thats cool.

Bottom line is that Joe Capone is the business owner and your money goes to Joe Capone.

I dont think its a matter of any of us competing with Joe Capone, there are buyers at all levels.

Do you know anything about Joe Capone?

Um...did you actually read any of this thread? :eek:

The general thought, I believe, was that it was a shame that Clark got mixed up with scum like Joe. The time Clark spent with you is what I would expect from any decent breeder. You're just lucky you didn't get stuck talking to his partner, Joe....but then it seems everyone wants to try to distance themselves from him in the public eye.

No Ed, I do not know Joe Capone. I am fairly new to this business/ hobby. I only state things as I see them. When I called on the add, I spoke to Clark Tucker. He is the one that helped me and answered my questions, he is the one I am giving praise to. I have had bad business partners in the past, we all have. I would only ask for people to judge my character if I were the one they were in direct contact with. This thread originally started regarding Clark Tucker. My collection will consist of about 20 snakes mostly co-doms. If I can save a little along the way- Great! A hundred here- Two hundred there starts to add up!

I see your point, Jason....the only problem being that Joe isn't a PAST bad partner, he is currently a partner....and the BPs are his. Perhaps you would be well served to do some research on ol Joey, and see if that's the kind of person you really want to be giving your hard-earned money to.
