In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Clark Tucker of PowerHouse Reptiles

that is so crazy that someone would sell snakes at a price where normal everyday people could afford them! i can't believe the nerve of him wanting to expand the market to the hobbyist and not just the investor! what a horrible person he is for wanting to sell HIS snakes for a price that would not make most people break the bank. this guy should be hunted down! lol

seriously, all of these morphs are so overpriced, i hope that they will all be around $100-$500 soon. it is going to be intresting what the prices are going to be like in a year or two, what with the economy and all. i like the wild type look better than any other though.

It's not Joe's prices that turn people off.
It's Joe himself.
His arrogant, used car salesman, screw everyone over to make a buck ,attitude is what people don't like.

Matt, in case you have not noticed...BP morphs are now affordable to almost everyone.

Joe C. and his bunch of cronys such as Rick, Clark or whoever the sucker du joir is are only trying to line their pockets, not make morphs affordable to anyone.

Something else to consider is that cheap morphs are just that, quality is never cheap!

you do have a point there, i would not mind paying allot more than $500 for a beautiful snake( I'm personally a boa guy ) with paperwork saying where its ancestry is from, i just don't care much for the morphs.

I think what everyone is forgetting is reguardless of what one buyer's experience is, there are still many customers that are still satisfied with the snakes produced by Joe Capone. His partner, Clark Tucker, is trying to make it right and that shows that he is a bigger person than most breeders. Do you really think that he is doing this all on his own? No, as a partner, I am sure he has to consult Joe on the issue as well. Just goes to show that some people know when to say, "Let's try to make things right, what can we do to correct the issue?", whereas others hear one bad thing from one irrate person and blow things way out of proportion. I think you all should be ashamed of how you come off. A lot of good quality herps have come from both breeders and just because the rest of you are ass chapped because of prices doesn't mean you have room to bitch. How many of you have recieved poor quality reptiles from either one?

Christy, go back and read all the threads on Joe if you are going comment, otherwise, you are going to come off as uninformed and ignorant.

How would you feel if you bought a snake from Joe in 2005 for $8000, and two years later, he is selling them for $800, while the rest of the world is selling them for $3000? Buying a snake at $800 when the market is selling them for $3000 makes you a scab buyer AND seller...caring only about now, yourself, and not about the harm one person can do. Joe purposefully tried to ruin the Ball market, he admitted this! If he cared so much for his customers, he would roughly follow what the market is doing. He cares about his bottom line, period! So he is giving the new customers low prices, while the customers that paid big bucks a few years earlier, have no way to make even a small percent of their money back. Get it now?

in the other threads it says that other people were selling the as low as 1200 BEFORE he dropped it to 800. why do you care anyhow, they are his snakes and if he wants to move them he can. if he wants to stockpile every morph and then flood the market with $50 morphs good for him. that would be good for the hobby IMO. that way more people could get into the hobby. sorry, that is my opinion.

Christy, your first post on this site and its not an informed one.

Prices are not an issue here, a low life scumbag person by the name of joe capone is....daswatsup!

Its been pointed out over and over that joe c. is the puppet master and clark tucker, etc, etc are just his stupid puppets.

Think before you post again!

There were no stock piles of morphs, actually he had very little or none at all.

He tried to manipulate the market for no obvious reasons other than hes a whack job with visions of granduer in his doped up twisted mind.

Actually, no it wouldn't. It would just be creating more disposable reptile pets in the industry...Less people willing to work with them at all to perfect certain looks (their are some real crap Pastel, Mojos and Cinnys out there - and it's from people not being selective with their breeding and just throwing codoms with whatever and mass producing them)...

well why don't people complain about that? that would make much more sense, all i kept reading in his other thread was about how he was selling his snakes at under the market prices. why do people not say that the guy sold snakes he didn't have because he is a barrel full of crazy?

Matthew, I hope you are under 20 years old, or you come off as uninformed...how would flooding the market with $50 morphs be a good thing....damn that was a stupid statement.

Joe overproduced a certain morph so he could sell it rediculously cheap, to hurt a certain other breeder. That is just tactless. In the process of hurting the other big breeder, he tanked the Mojave morph, and ruined it for those who invested in the Mojave project. There is a big difference between TRYING to hurt a certain breeder, and the market in general, and your customers from one or two years ago, and lowering your price because you could not sell a handfull of offspring at market price.

I have a big problem with the Muslim religion, since 9/11. Thirty years from now, people may have a different attitude because 9/11 did not happen in their lifetime, and it did not impact their lives like it impacted ours. Same thing with the Morph King fiasco...those who remember it, will always hate the guys, those who were not around yet, may not have the same feelings as we do.

Joe is not all about his customers, that is a lie, and if you believe it, that is on you, and nobody else. If you are in the hobby for life, like I am, you do not want every morph to be $10. We all know about the yearly drop, but they caused a drop in two years, that should have taken 5-9 years. And, they did it on purpose.

What if a Ferrari dealership started selling Ferrari's for the same price as a Honda. Sure, some people would rush out and buy them, but they would not be as exclusive anymore...and the people who bought them for big bucks a year or two earlier from that dealership, would be peeved. Not everyone should be able to buy a Ferrari as their first car, not everyone should be able to buy a Pied as their first Ball.

so you think that people who work with colubrids are just making disposable pets? i think more people would work with BPs because they could afford them, and they would work harder to selectively breed them so they would have an edge over the jobbers.
