    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I went to clean out my leo tank and found 2 dried up eggs and they were the same color as the sand. I feel like a terrible leo mama:( . Chikita buried her eggs and so i never knew. Am i a bad leo mama for not seeing the eggs? I looked in my gecko book and they are eggs.

One more reason why paper towels are the ideal substrate.

You should be in for more eggs in a little while so keep your eye out. :thumbsup:

If you provide a laying box in that area, you might be able to get her to lay the next batch in the box.

......

I don't provide a laying box for my female anymore though. She decided the laying box was a batheroom and kept laying the eggs in the humid hide instead. :shrug01:

Has she been with a male?

Sometimes they'll lay infertile eggs, so if she hasn't been with a male then there would have been nothing you could have done.

yes there is a male in the tank with her. i only had so many tanks. what do i do for a hach box? I need to do this before i move to oaklahoma. my mom is gong to take care of them till i can come back for them.

Well hurry up and put them on paper towels that way you don't have anymore hidden eggs then for a hatch box you will have to have an incubator. I've seen them on e bay for $50.00. Good Luck! If you do get some to hatch what will you do with them?

well my goddaughter wants one. I am not sure. I will have to see what the state of ok requiers for a breeder and seller of leo geckos. I know that my leos need a bigger tank and if i can i will get them one and set it up so that they are not just on sand. I know everyone's concern about sand but my leo's do love the sand. As a matter of fact when i put totosi on the sand he started rubbing his privates in it. He is happier and healthier now than he was before i got him, but i do have plans for the leos other than letting them live in the sand. But since my husband is the only one with an income and i am moving to be with him i cant really do too much until i come back for my leo's in may. ( my leo's are very happy and healthy even with the sand. I check them for bulges and such every couple of days and nothing yet.)
