Nothing. He never reimbursed me like he said he would. No package was received. I asked him about it Friday or Thursday and haven't heard anything back.

Op you need to contact pay pal and get a refund. I would ask for 1/2 of my $$$ back. The bad thing is they may deny your claim as he sent out something to you. You might get this one denied unfortunately.... :angry:

He paid you on Sept. 2nd and it's now October 12th; how long do you think he should have to wait to get what he paid for? Maybe you should be a bit more assertive with the post office and get this situation resolved? It is your responsibility as the seller to ensure the item is delivered; why should he be the one getting screwed while you wait for things to work themselves out?

Claims with the post office can be tricky.......I have stopped shipping with them because of this issue..its a nightmare and can take months to resolve.

That said, If he offered to provide a refund then he should have done it.

I ship high end items and have had them damaged....I have had to eat the "insurance money"..as it were..by shipping out a replacement item.
Then we wait for the claim to go through.
It totally sucks...that is why I don't use them anymore.

What I don't get is the offers to pay, and then not doing it....or the lack of communication.

I hope it gets worked out!

The OP should not have to wait while you work it out with the post office. If it is a lost package, and it was insured, you will be paid, not the OP..
