    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Long story short...earlier this year Clorice contacted me about some '03 corns...agreed to $85 shipped for a snow and an amel, and I threw in another snow that had a kink right behind it's vent...a great deal IMO...about the time we were ready to finish our deal my computer went down for about a month...I reestablished contact when I got back online and made her an (JMHO) awesome deal for being patient and still being interested...$30.00 shipped!!!...Yes, a loss on my end but it is all about keeping a potential future customer happy and talking about ya...and they ARE just corns, really no big deal...even (ducks from the soon to thrown "you idiot!" bombs) told her pay me after you receive them...well, she received them, thought they were great, and, of course, never sent me my 30 dinero...At my level, just an enthusiastic hobbyist, 30 dollars is not a big thing...it's the idea that I went WAY beyond the norm to make a customer happy, and end up getting hosed over a measly 30 bucks...She was extremely nice via email and I decided to take a chance (dummy)...Won't happen again, thats for sure...below is the last email transaction between us...Just giving y'all a head's up to be wary of dealing with this person...Peace all, really hope this is the last "bad guy" thread I ever post ;*(

Has happened to me too

I can simpathize. I had almost the same thing happen to me , but with leos and a close friend.
You did go way above and beyond for your customer. Atleast you made this post and if she plans on selling in the future people will know what she did to you. I also believe that it will come back on her 3 x's over.
Maybe she will see your post and make it right with you.

This thread is more about you being honest and straightforward in your dealings than about Clorice. Your attitude speaks volumes about your business ethics. Don't let this incident change you. Hope you the best for the future. :)

Have you considered sending a certified "legal" document to her residence stating something along the lines that if payment is not received, you will take legal action against her. If she truly does live with her parents and they get the letter, I'm sure $30 is a small price to pay to avoid perceived higher costs via litigation. It might be worth the shot.

I guess it's up to you what you do Chris, but is it worth the hassell to collect $30

I'm sure more then $30 worth of damage has been done to her name now that it has been posted on the boi.

However, I guess, if you decide to go ahead and try to collect the $30 it will at least fill your vehicle up!

I am posting my apology to Chris for everyone to see. We had corresponded back and forth for quite sometime and when I first received the corns, he wasn't in a hurry for payment. However, I had made him a promise that I would pay by a certain time. Yes, ends are hard to meet with a family, etc., but a promise is a promise. I was supposed to have payment to him about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago. I have just sent via PayPal his payment. This time I made sure I put that money aside no matter.
Just to let you know, he is a definitely a good person to buy from, with his generous warranty and understanding nature. I do hope that my mistake doesn't affect your trust in others. I want to thank you for not slamming me on here, though I do deserve my piece of humble pie.

Well, i am more than happy to turn this into a "Good Customer" post...She was so sincere in all her emails i was a bit blown away when she didnt pay me..Real glad to see my first impression was correct and would certainly do business with her again (i'm just gonna have to take payment up front for the first coupla times ;*)...)....Thank you and look forward to hearing from ya...
 
Chris you know a girl by the name of Heather Litz? I noticed you location, first time I have seen Hanover on one of the reptile boards. I grew up in S.G.(stink town). Or maybe Vance Synder? I dont know if he is still runs in these circles or not. Anyway just had to ask.

Your post should be an example to some of the other people out there who make excuses instead of apologies. It's nice to see you take responsibility without trying to place blame at someone else's feet.

Chris is a great guy to do business with. Oh boy did we have problems but in the end we made it a great deal and I would always buy from him if he had something I wanted.

Chris I am out of the hobby for awhile but will be back soon

Oh yes...

That one still "hurts"...DOA from my end and an extra day shipping (not his fault) from Darin's...yeah, not one of the better deal's you'll ever hear about...it all worked out in the end tho, lol...the boa's are doing great and hope all is well with you and Petra (think that was her name...) :cool:
 
Everything is wondrful we were blessed with a baby girl on May 7th and she is cute and wonderful. Daddies little girl..LOL
