Well, looks like my girl decided to drop her clutch yesterday while I was at Repticon. I was so tired last night that I overlooked them, but found them this morning. (From the looks of them, they had to have been in her tub for more than just overnight.) No sense in pics of slugs. :( Just hoping that I've gotten all of my slugs out of the way, or at least that my luck will look a lot better when my eggs start hatching in about 1 1/2 weeks from now!

Oh man Matt, that really sucks! I'm sorry this happened. What clutch was it? Were they all slugs or were there some good eggs that just went bad? I woulda tried to save em anyways.. Cause you can never just know. Hopefully your other clutches are filled with a bunch of eggs to make up for it.

I've heard of people putting slugs in the inc just to make sure and a few have hatched.. just a thought..

Thanks for all the condolences, but fortunately this was nothing TOO special (they're all special in some way!). It was just a normal bred to a few co-doms, but I was hoping for at least one nice female morph to hold back.

With the season being so late, and already so light, I let these bother me more than usual. The fact that I got no sleep this weekend didn't help.

Thanks for all the nice comments!! But like I always tell others, if they all turned out wonderfully, the nice ones wouldn't be as nice! :)

Oh yeah, forgot to address whether or not I kept them. I did not. These were less than half the size of normal eggs, dark yellow, and HARD enough to knock someone out if I threw one at his head!! I've hatched some eggs that I never thought had a chance; these were definite slugs.

That sucks Matt, but I am sure the litters you have on the way will more than make up for it. :) Take it easy.

If you knocked someone out with them I bet it would help the mood....Sorry had to try. Losing any clutch even a normal is still a bummer.

That thought actually did cross my mind earlier today...and it did cause a little smile!

Thanks again for all the nice comments. I've posted my other clutches so figured I'd keep it up...the good, the bad, and the ugly! Seems to be a pretty good way to keep up with my season, in a place that I won't lose it! lol I'm sure I'll have better news soon! :)
