    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Damn.... Got down to 20.5 degrees last night. This NEEDS to be against the law! And just where the hell IS that global warming people are doing the "chicken little" thing about? I am all for it. Bring on the higher temps. More carbon dioxide, too! CO2 is good for plants, so with higher average temps and more CO2, that means longer growing seasons, better crops, and likely as an average a much better life for the majority of the people on this planet. Anyone who feels differently, well do your part and stop breathing so you stop contributing your share of CO2 into the atmosphere. Sounds fair to me.

I have "Florida blood" now. When I first moved down here, 50 degrees found downright balmy. Now if it is below 65 degrees I feel like someone is going to have to chip the ice off of me.
 
25.0 degrees on Sunday night. 27.0 degrees Monday night. I WANT MY GLOBAL WARMING!!! I guess people need to breathe more...
 
It was 1 degree with windchill of -16 this morning here in ne Ohio and 14 with -5 windchill now. I opened front door for mail and cats looked at me like, What the hell's wrong with you?
 
Damn, this is going to be an ugly weekend. Low of 20 degrees for Saturday night. Just slightly higher Sunday night. Daytime highs not getting out of the 40s. And of course, that is assuming the weather forecasters are correct. Last night they called for a low of 32 and it got down to 28 degrees here. So yeah, could get down into the teens. Hope my citrus trees make it through it.

I have said this before, and I will likely say it again: BRING ON THAT GLOBAL WARMING!!!
 
Had a light snow flurry this afternoon when the temp dropped down to 35 degrees. Went back up to 37 when the sun came out but dropping again now. Was out dripping the faucets and harvesting the last of the tangerines I wanted to save. Yeah, I think the crazies claiming that global warming is going to destroy the Earth and trying to do things to make it colder need to be slapped around with a solid two by four. Higher CO2 in the atmosphere and higher temps longer mean longer crop producing and better crop producing times.

As for "global change", sheesh. You expect the universe to be completely stable for all eternity with no changes whatsoever? Better wake up to reality. If ANYTHING is causing global changes in temperatures, look towards the Sun as being the source. Notice how just the minor tilt of the Earth can change us from Summer to Winter? That is a MINOR change in distance from where you live to the Sun. Think this rotation around the Sun is a perfect circle and remains so for all eternity? Or the solar output is constant for all eternity? That is fairy tale land thinking.
 
21.0 degrees last night. 12:38am and 22.5 degrees already. For all the active measures the crazies are taking to try to eliminate "global warming", thanks bunches....
 
Ouch! Yeah, got REALLY cold last night. Adding insult to injury since this is also Connie's birthday.
