    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy coldbloodedreptilelover ripped me off and is selling the snake i sent him!!!!

Also, if you can, stand by with a video camera and record (unedited) the receiving of the package and the unpacking. That way if it's an empty box, you will be able to prove it.

Ah, that's a good plan Nick. Even a cell phone video will work, as long as it's pretty clear and not edited.

Yeah it kinda saved my butt once when I had a snake cooked by a heat pack. It's definitely easier to have a friend hold the camera and you work the box :rofl:

Ouch. That's a bummer.

I've taken to videoing and photographing box openings myself.

Kinda sad we have to concern ourselves with something like that as a means to cover our butts.:(
 
i also like to suggest when you see the delivery guy comming start the recording then. that way there is absolutely no question about if you have already opened the box or not.
 
And, if he happens to really send you a snake, get pics of it so that they can be compared to the ones that have already been posted so that the snake can be ID'ed. Just a thought. I wasn't sure if that could be determined from a video or if a picture would make it easier to do that.
 
Ok I wil try my best to get the delivery guy in the vid. I will also take pics if it so everyone can compare. He hasn't sent me a tracking # or any info yet do I'm not sure if he shipped it yet.
 
If he hasn't sent tracking info yet, I'd say it's very likely you're not getting your snake tomorrow Dylan. Not that Mark deserves the benefit of a doubt, but let's hope he did send a snake and just hasn't given you shipping info yet, but it's not looking good.
 
All I can say is wow.... I just got through reading MOST of this thread and I feel really bad for this kid in fact the SAME exact thing happend to me from a guy in NC lies and run around and talked almost the same way. EXACT same MO.

If this guy is serious about giving back this kid his snake or sending a new one. do we have a forum member in the area to where this guy lives as to where we can offer him every possibility to man up and do the right thing by maybe having the guy drop the snake off to a forum member and then shipping it back to Dylan?

I live in ny but just recently did a trade with someone in mass where we met up half way. I would even be willing to kick in to help get this animal shipped back to Dylan safely. :thumbsup:

I live in the area. I just don't have the dollars for shipping.
 
Well, as has been stated, this could all end very easily. Mark could meet up with another local Fauna member and hand over the snake, and as long as it seems healthy upon inspection it can be shipped back to Dylan. I'm sure many, myself included, would be more than happy to contribute $5-10 to said member to cover shipping costs.

It COULD be very easy, but it seems as if Mark does not want to go that route.
