In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I use to collect Hot Wheels. But I haven't bought any the past few years. When I collected them so did about a half dozen or so of my friends so it was pretty cool then. But over the years it just seem like life happen and we all slowly stopped. I have about 12 rubbermaid tubs full of them and probally about 6 or 7 boxes full. I keep telling Mendie I am going to sell them but it is alot to go through. LOL!

Kelli those are some cool Lunch boxes.

i used to collect frogs...not the real thing..but all different kinds....stuffed toys, beanie babies, glass ones...i even have one made of weed....i got it from canada...i gave most of my frog stuff away cuz they were overtaking my room but i still kept some that are very valuable to me...now..i collect snake stuff...i have a 3 ft. tall wooden hand made king cobra from indonesia...its the "protector" of my room..haha....even its fangs are really sharp...and its all one piece of wood with the most detailed carving youve EVER seen...and i collect disney movies...bambi II is the newest one..hehe

I don't really count books as "collecting", since I read them all. Granted, I don't throw or give them away, but I just don't think of them as a collection. Knives, on the other hand, I collect. And me being me, they are all good quality knives. My wife (and my return to reptiles) has pretty much stopped the purchasing, but I NEVER said that I had enough knives, lol. I have paid more for a single reptile than a single knife, but my mother would choke on her teeth if she found out how much some of those knives cost, lol.

I've got a couple of really neat old lunchboxes that I've held onto...one is "Happy Days" and one is "Scooby Doo"....both are from the 70's...when I was in Kindergarten/1st grade, I believe. The old metal ones with the matching thermos inside. :)

I saw a really neat Pez dispenser yesterday Paul....it was Spongebob in his underwear, lmao....

I have that one, too.

I also have a bunch of those spring puppet toys or whatever they're called. Someone gave me one as a "joke" or something once, and it's just another one of those things that people have given me around holidays and such. I guess I'm just really hard to shop for.

What fun collecting is!!!
I just came home to open the box shipped to me with the latest bear, a two foot tall cuddly one made of alpaca.

my wife seems to have renewed her lust for shoes...I may have to reclaim the credit cards. Maybe buy a knife or two.

I don't really collect anything now, but like 5 years ago, I had a huge collection of Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo figurines, plushes, movies and DVDs. It got a little out of hand when I was paying a little too much to have items imported directly from Japan. Now, I have a nice little collection of Buddha statues.

i collect die cast cars ,trucks, bikes, choppers, and handmade models, swords, knifes and airguns

I collect arrowheads, old bottles, shells, and somehow I keep getting more cages I have like 40 unused cages lol maybe they will be handy later though.

When I was younger I used to collect panties. Does that count? :dgrin:

Now being a land surveyor, I sometimes am out in the boonies recovering 100 year old survey markers, but I find other old things also..............
Found this atop the Franklin Mountain at 8000 ft..............

I have also collected skulls of various types in the past. It seemed to get old after a while. But I still have a fascination with them.
