My wife is selling her breeding colony of Giant Ornate Plated Lizards.
It's a 1.3 group, and the females lay eggs every year like clockwork.
Very docile; low key lizards, and would make a great lizard for someone who doesn't want something large, or small. They are a great medium sized lizard. They will tail whip until they are out of the tank, but that's as mean as they get. I have never been bitten, nor has one attempted to bite.
They eat a variety of foods; mice/rat pinks, High end wet dog food such as Fresh Pet selects or Merrick, Fruits such as berries, and melons.. They don't eat vegetables.
They are comfortable in a 75 gallon tank, but bigger is always better.
These are LTCs, and have produced beautiful offspring.
My wife is asking what we paid, which is $125. She is firm on that price.
