In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi everyone. A friend of mine has a serious problem. He has an adult "male" boa (he says it's between 7 and 9 feet, so I'm not sure about it being male) that needs to get the heck out of where it's staying; namely, his ex's home. She is NOT taking good care of it, and keeps the snake in a bag when it isn't free-roaming her apartment. Yes, a Bag, and Yes, Free-Roaming! My friend doesn't have anywhere near the space to keep the snake himself, and wants to give it to someone who will take good care of it.

I currently have no pictures, but I wanted to get the word out ASAP. I am not equipped to care for this large a snake for very long - I am a colubrid person! I will be removing the snake from his ex's house soon, and I'm looking for someone to take him (or her) in.

The snake was apparently stunted in it's early years, so it has a fairly small head, and it does have a small scar on it from before my friend had it, but it's completely healed over.

I simply cannot ship an animal that is this big, but I am willing to drive a ways to see this guy have a new, better home.

This is an extremely urget case, so if you're interested in giving him a home, please let me know.

Thank You
-Ellen

hello

Where are you located?I'm In Va and could give this snake a good home.

I am in central CT. Virginia, unfortunately, is beyond the distance that we could drive the snake.

Unless you happen to have a friend in between that could take the snake part of the way, or something. That would be ok.

Thanks!

about the boa

are you still looking to give it a home cause I'm in CT. If not you should problably discontinue the ad

Anthony,
I seriously doubt that this animal is still looking for a home. The original post was nearly two years ago.
