    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have had him for about two years now, but he is 8.5 years old. I also have one of his offspring, a female... I hoping she is het for Giant, LMAO!

I've had to resort to sewing a medium rat to a jumbo adult mouse for his g/f just so I can get her up to weight again. She will only take mice, and rarely will she take more than one per week.

I use a small amount of white cotton thread, it passes easily through the digestive system.

I thread the needle, knot both ends, then I proceed to pierce the skin of the mouse near the tail. I thread the needle back through between the strands below the knot so the knot doesn't go through the skin and come loose. The needle then goes through the lower jaw of the rat, under the chin but over the teeth to anchor it. Just a quick couple of repeat stitches, tie it off, cut the thread and done. I take the water the mice were thawed in and pour it over the rat to disguise a bit of the smell. She swallows the mouse and the rat follows :)

She has already gained quite a bit of weight on this method. I just leave the "combo meal" at the door of her hide with the mouse's nose touching her body. Once the lights go out, she eats.

Very interesting idea. I'll remember that for when I have a stubborn, mouse only kind of feeder. Sounds like it is doing it's job if she is gaining weight.
One of my females is a die hard live adult mouse feeder only. And only fancy colored mice. She wont take p/k f/t or stunned, and anything less then a full adult size mouse is rejected. She is very weird, and it's funny watching her eat, because she is still small. She gets em down, and keeps em down, but they seem like they are a tad large. But what can ya do? If thats all she'll eat the so be it.

She isnt nearly big enough to take 2. She is still young, 1 adult mouse is almost too big for her, takes her a good good amount of time to get it down.
2 would kill her LOL.
