• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Hi everyone, this is my first post here so sorry if I miss anything. As my first corn is from a large commercial breeder (BHB) it seems appropriate that my second should be a rescue! Repticon Salt Lake City is at the end of May and a rescue group called International Reptile Rescue will be attending with adoptable animals. Has anyone adopted from them before? I am having trouble finding any great amount of information about their program. If they are legit, and have any handleable corns with them, I would love to bring one home with me from the Repticon. Thanks for any info!

Jessica Keenan:)

I've seen these, but thanks I appreciate it :) I was just wondering if anyone had had a personal experience, or even had seem them at a repticon and remembered the health of their animals. I guess the biggest factor will be what I see when I get there.

I see that this thread is quite old. I was looking for info on them because I see them around at shows in Portland and their prices seem very high for "adoption fees," more than what a breeder would charge. I purchased a used cage with supplies from them for a reasonable price last year ($90 for a decent size tank with sliding lid, UTH, lamp and decor) but I am not convinced that they aren't flippers taking in pets under the guise of a rescue to make a quick buck. I wonder if they can provide any 501(c)3 info or other documentation proving that they are a legitimate rescue.
