    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok, one of my Blood girls passed a large HARD urate three days ago and there are two more about the size of medium chicken eggs (about the same size as the first) in her and she is having a very difficult time passing them. She is 15 months old and almost 3 1/2 feet in length. I have her soaking as I write this and have been soaking her twice a day for about a half an hour each time. I raised the humidity in her tub after I noticed she was having problems by soaking her substrate (news print). She has been soaking herself every now and then in the water tub in her set up since the day she passed the first urate. I know the humidity in my snake room is low at 45% and I am setting up a second humidifier to rectify the problem. The set up temps are cool side 76-80 ˚ and the warm spot in her tub is set at 88 ˚ which gives a variance of +/- 2 ̊.
My question is; is there anything else I should be doing besides soaking her in warm baths and raising the humidity in her tub?

Soaking is a big part of it; but activity will help a lot. If she can't clear them, you can try to work them down/out manually.

Just an update. My girl passed the second hard urate with some gentle massaging and the third one came last night without any help from me, I am very relieved. She seams to be doing very well, I will still monitor her closely for the next few days though.

Thanks for the mental support Harald!!
