    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think we have some unfinished business??? About $3500 worth of unfinished business???? Which a chunk of that will go towards the finding Corey fund if this isn't taking care of IMMEDIATELY. You know the numbers and you have access to a phone, please use this opportunity to make arrangements to take care of this debt. It has been way too long and it seems you are pulling a disappearing act(or trying to). I am not going to slam your character or say anything negative yet, this matter simply needs to be taken care of. It also seems that you are simply screening phonecalls and don't want to answer. It is in your best interests to take care of this.

I hate going out on a limb for someone that has proven to others that he's not deserving of this trust, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and continue to post only what I have been told by him... I last spoke to him on the 15th and he indicated he was catching a plain to take care of personal affairs out of state.

Obviously your concerns shouldn't be taken lightly, and I hope to hear that this comes to a satisfactory conclusion.

That he is running and hiding. No problem, there are ways of finding people even if they want to hide. There is no benefit of the doubt to give him. He has not answered the phone in over 3 months, has not made any attempt to pay the money back. He was originally paid in cash and the animals purchased were DOA upon arrival of picking them up. He then said he would pay the money back first thing in the morning when the banks opened. After that he was not heard from, then when he was contacted he stated that he didn't have the money, he had spent it on a new car!!!! Then without the money and not willing to give up any of his other animals, he promised several chinese banded kings which never showed and the money never repaid! If there is any doubt about this, feel free to contact me, or better yet, if he is not trying to skip town without paying his debts, why won't he answer his phone(which is still connected and still has his voice on the answering machine). He knows he owes money, right??? He knows he spent money that wasn't his, right? Okay then. Instead of hiding, he should really do HIMSELF a favor and make arrangements to get this debt taken care of. For someone that deals in "High end and rare" animals, he sure is not taking care of business.

he owes me some money too for a deal with turtles,
and he is not answering my emails, it is not much
( only $140.00 )

people you owe money.

I spoke to Corey on the 24th or 25th of July regarding 2.1 spengleri I bought from him. He said he had just gotten out of the hospital due to surgery which went awry. We negotiated a ship day immediately following my return from vacation. When I returned August 2nd, I phoned him and received no answer. I called everyday for 7 days and then sent a complaint to Paypal. I recieved a refund from Paypal for he money I had sent him. I have never heard from him since but got the impression that he was pretty sick again--a post op infection. Has anyone heard from him since the 25th of July? Obviously, someone is paying the bills as his phone and cell phone are still connected and his web site is running.

I don't want to slam him because I had very good luck with him. Every animal I ever purchased was pretty healthy and the one that died was replaced with two new ones.

If you have heard from him since July please email me @ [email protected].
 
on an interesting note... I spend some time in the same IRC chat rooms as Corey.. and... now that I think of it.. I have not seen him *or* his partner that ships him all his animals from overseas for atleast a month now.
 
Sorry about that guys. I was thinking of Corey Sawyer's name while reading the other thread and it was early. Sorry about the confusion.
 
I'm a very good personal friend of Corey's, and have been very worried for a while. He's a very honost person not the sort of person to skip town suddenly to avoid debt or anything like that, and if he were leaving suddenly, he would call and tell me. My boyfriend and I both were talking to him about every day last month, and had planned to meet up afterwards sometime. I was in arizona doing some field herping for 2 weeks, and tried calling every one of his phone numbers I knew, and each one was either disconnected, or it said I couldn't leave a message for some reason. I am extremely worried and be assured that something drastic and bad has to of happened for him to disappear like this. If you do hear from him, please let me know. Thank you...

This guy you say should be trusted so much was caught for smuggling and then turned informant afterwards.. So there you go..

I dont have any dealings with corey or earl at all, just posting the facts. As someone brought up credibilty issues, as in "I know corey he is a respected member". If you need proof why dont you ask him, or check into the recent arrest in orlando.
