In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The Corns have been laying well for me. So far, the smallest clutch I've seen is 20 eggs!

Here's what I have out so far:

Okeetee X Okeetee 24 eggs

Striped Motley X Butter Motley 20 eggs

Amel Banded Motley X Creamscicle 20 eggs

My quad het (Amel, Anery, Hypo, Motley) female is laying right now. I bred her to a Normal Corn just to see if he has anything hidden in his genotype. I'll post photos tommorow probably. I'll add on clutches as they come.

My female quad het (Amel, Anery, Hypo, Motley) layed 18 eggs yesterday. I paired her with a normal male. The purpose of this pairing was just to see if he has anything hidden in his genotype or not.

It'll only prove he is not het for her 4 known hets but cool nonetheless. I love dealing with Colubrids and having the unknown Christmas in July hatchings going on. Congrats again.

Yep, that was the whole point of the breeding. To see if he has anything or not. What better to test him with than a female who has 4 common traits? I've had him for a very long time and have only bred him once before to a Bloodred. No common traits between the parents popped out in that clutch. I just figured that it was time that he got some too.

Can't wait for Christmas time later this summer!

I had two little half sized clutches layed yesterday by a couple of my smaller breeder females.

This Anery gave me 11 eggs. She's supposedly a multi het. I bred her to a Ghost het Amel so we'll see.

Then one of my Outcrossed Bloodreds layed 10 eggs. I bred her to a male Outcross. I am expecting 1/4 of these to be Bloodreds. On another note, this is the first time I have gotten eggs from a pair where I hatched out both the sire and the dam. So this is the first clutch that will truly be my stock.

Two more clutches were layed yesterday.

One of my Normal het Lavender Motleys layed 15 eggs. I bred her to a Motley het Lavender so there is a 1 in 8 shot at Lavender Motleys and a 1 in 8 shot at Lavenders out of this one. I produced Lavender Motleys last season. Let's hope that the odds fall in my favor once again.

My second Outcrossed Bloodred female layed 14 eggs. I bred her to an Outcross male so we have a 1 in 4 shot at Bloodreds here, in two clutches now. Also, this is the second clutch I have ever produced in that I had hatched out both parents.

My female Silverqueen layed 13 eggs on 06-14-09. I bred her to a Ghost that I produced. We'll have to wait and see what the Ghost babies look like.

I know. I know. I miscounted on the video. That was #8 coming out of her. That's what I get for counting via looking at the small screen on the back of the camera.

I haven't been around for a minute. My appologies. Been busy and very tired.

On 06-18-09 my second het Lavender Motley layed 18 eggs.

Also on 06-21-09 my female Bloodred layed a strong clutch of 25 eggs. She's been my biggest producer for two years in a row now.

I think that we're done with the first go around. Double clutches will be showing up soon though from the earlier producers.

Nice Pics! Look at all the plump little marshmallows!

Congrats on all the clutches!

Thanks!!

Looks like I might as well forget about sleeping for the next few months after all of these hatch!

Sometimes being wrong is a good thing.

I thought that I was done with the first go around of the laying season. Yesterday my female Hypo layed 23 eggs. I really didn't think that she was gravid. She didn't show at all and the only meal that she skipped was the feeding one day before she layed the eggs!

This is the first female that ever produced for me back in 2005 when all I had was one pair that was big enough to breed and I just wanted to see if I could do it. She's produced every year since. She is the mother of what has become my signiature line. This is where my Ghost corns come from.

She is probably the ugliest snake in my collection and does not really even look like a Hypo even though breeding has confirmed that she is, and also het Anery. Although she is a nasty looking Hypo, she produces the best looking babies I've seen yet. She gets bred to the same Snow het Hypo every year just 'cause the younguns' are so darn pretty.
