• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well... counter productive if your an individual.

Everything is moving towards online and internet usage... but the ISP's constantly want to cap the amount of bandwidth you can use.

AT&T just implimented a cap on their DSL and Broadband home users. To me it just reeks of greed. Everything is going online... so lets hit our customers even harder if they want to spend much time online.

At one point I was hoping AT&T would eventually get DSL out my way so I could drop my cell phone internet connection. Now that will never happen. Me and my cell plan got grandfathered in when Verizon bought out Altell. I have unlimited internet... and I aint changing.

Technology. Can't live with it, can't live without it....:beer:

sadly... the more I seem to read the more I want to wean myself from it.

My real vice is amazon.com You can get anything there.. and that's where I get most of my books. I just had a shipment of around 14 books delivered today.

Until the government gets their hooks firmly set into laws regulating the free and direct access to REAL information on the net, the internet might realistically be the only TRUE source of information available to us. Which likely explains the amount of counter intelligence being thrown at us constantly.

The best way to hide the truth is by surrounding it with lies. The best way to hide a lie is by surrounding it with the truth.
