I recently purchased several Viper Geckos from him from a posting advertising the animals. The price was a little bit more than any where else. I will justify his prices later in this "Good Guy" posting.
Communications where excellent and he was very helpful through out the purchase. We arranged to send them USPS overnight as my mail guy is usually to my house by 9:30am everyday, although on the delivery day I had a new (and slight hostile in demeanor) mail carrier who didn't arrive until around 11am. The good news is that Craig has been doing this for awhile and not only insulated the box they where shipped in but he double boxed the 1st box with additional insulation and a heat pack!!!
One thing that I had not seen that helped Craig stand out is that he sent me a "Viper Gecko Care Package" 2 days before I received the actual Geckos. It had tons of informationa and even some history on Viper Gecko being brought into the Pet Trade for Captive Breeding. I was very impressed as this shows he is in the biz for the passion and not to make a quick buck.
You must first understand I am one of those people who believes reptiles should demand a fair market value and not simply be dumped onto the market cheaply. Almost, no one thinks of taking a free or cheap lizard to the Vet but the $400 dollar Chameleon show any illness and it goes to the Vet ASAP.
His Vipers compared to others that I have purchased from other very good breeders had very distinct markings and appeared to bein very good health with a good size to them. I would purchase from Craig again as I can count on great quality and a smooth transaction.
