    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

40 LBS :eek::eek:

6 feet? 40 pounds?
Either that person has no idea what kind of snake they really have, or they're trying to pass it off as a ball python to someone who doesn't know any better.
I've seen a few ads where people are trying to pass of a juvie boa or Burmese as a ball python. I guess they figure balls are easier to get rid off than larger snakes - but what a rude awakening for the ignorant person who buys the 'ball' thinking that's as big as it's going to get, and then ends up wit a 12 foot snake.
I always worry what will happen to the snakes in those situations.

I did not call. I've got a 7 ft dumeril that weighs in at 18 lbs and she is a fatty. I can't imagine what a 6 ft snake weighing 40 lbs would look like.

Here is my 7' Boa that weighs in at 38.5lbs!

Maybe a blood python? :shrug01:

That's about the only think I can think of that could be around 6ft and weight around 40lb.

Id have to agree with Matthew probally a Blood But it might be a Burmese that someones trying to pass off quickly becuase when they got it they had no idea how big it would actually get and How quickly lets not talk about keeping them fed now adds up probally someones impulse buy without thinking things through

I have 2 burms one of which is around 7.5 feet weighing in at about 30Lbs and a 8.5 foot Burm thats 40-45Lbs So IDK...
