In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have two leos one normal and one albino. We are a family that has just started our reptile collection in the last 6 months. We have no desire to breed just wanted some fun scaly pets. Anywho. My albino bit me today. We have had them since Feb. not sure why he bit me any suggestions. I went back in to look at them again later and he was still being cranky. I literally had to pick him up with a piece of clothing so he couldn't bite. It's not that it hurt just a surprise. I did start giving them meal worms about a week ago. I had tried once before but the mealworms were too big for them babies. Now that they are a bit bigger they seem to enjoy them. I even got both leos to eat out of my hand more than once. Well now that I've rambled more if you have any suggestions they would be appreciated.
Thanks

babies often bite out of fear. you are super big, and they can easily get confused if they are use to associating your hand with food. He may also be shedding. That can make some of them cranky for a few days. Try to move really slow, non-threatening, and let them come to you for handling rather than cornering the little guy (girl?). It should disappear as they get more used to handling and less scared of everything.

Well we may have figured it out. We are keeping a close eye on them. We think they are both males. Mind you when they were sold to us they breeder told us they were both females. Even turned them over to look at tehm and said yep yep those are definately females. Well I have since found out that there is NO way they could tell at such a young age by turning them over. Oh well another newbie duped by a breeder trying to make a buck. We will continue to watch them and if we observe any aggressive behavior we will get them separated. We already havea cage to put one in if we see any problems. If I get a chance at a dig camera I will try to take pics so I can post them for help but right now I don't own one. thanks to all who replied!
