Jeanne I don't think you need to defend yourself anymore. It is interesting how the spin doctor has tried to make you out as the villian. This is one of those situations where it is pretty clear and cut. You are dealing with people who are shady at this point to say the least. They are defended by those who believe rational thinking is an option. I think it is fair to say that your warning will be heeded and those that question you really don't matter in the long run anyways. You were lied to and sold a misrepresented gecko unfortunately you may have to eat some of the cost but hopefully it will open your eyes a little wider next time you deal with someone of not so stellar reputation. Your reputation is very good. Might I recommend trying the ignore button.

Don't let Jim get you down. There are way too many questions unanswered on the part of this shady outfit. I am not so fast to buy swamp land, the whole Ali thing looks like just another ploy to scam, JMHO.

That would make a whole lot more sense to me, than what we are being asked to swallow.

It is not Jeanne that is the bad guy here. She paid good money in good faith and got took. This is plain and simple, anything else would be a lie.

Then you have Ali, she took over this scam/business (since It is not a registered business). I will call it what it was, a scam. She took over this scam, why? Seems we are slow to give a answer on this one. Nope, it don't make one lick of sense.

Way too many questions on this well known scam. Looks to me like the same old story, more deception from the Childs. IMO, it does not weight up, nope not even close.

One aspect that seems to be getting overlooked is that there still seems to be some confusion on exactly what Ali's role is here. Did she buy out Wendy? Are they partners? Is she just managing the business until Wendy comes back? Ali has claimed all 3 at one time or another if I am not mistaken...... or is Ali even real or just an alias to try and hide from the past?

I think all of that needs completely clarified. Then we can move on to whether or not she did her best to resolve this.

Ali has not been upfront with the customer. You do not renegotiate after the fact as Jim would like us to believe is the normal course of business.

Since this business has had so many incarnations and scammed so many people, why would ANYONE want to do business with Ali when she uses someone else accounts, changes her mind about reimbursing shipping when she promised to pay it (and never let the customer know she changed her mind), offers different versions of her relationship to this business, and does not even post a single word in her defense?

No matter how nice Ali may be, she has destroyed any credibility as a seller.

It appears that it's business as usual at Crazy Cresties with the exception of a new owner/manager/lacky/scammer/whatever at the helm.
