    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Oh my God! Maggie, I cant even begin to express how saddened I am over this news. This thread is a good example of what a great person your husband is to be able to evoke such emotions from strangers (some who have posted, including myself, have never met him nor talked to him...yet we are honestly hurting over this).

It goes without say that we are ALL wishing you and your family nothing but the best....and Chuck, hang in there man, hang in there!

oh Maggie! Please keep use posted on our friend. I know this is just a web site, and 99% of us will never ever meet each other.. but the relationships we have formed on here ARE good friendships. Chuck is a friend, and we love him a great deal!

I wish I could give you a hug.. but that is the downside to internet friendships. so please imagine me giving you a very long hug!!!

Chuck has given many people good laughs and smiles, and also made some insane I think.. which made us laugh even harder. Hell, I STILL giggle when I see some of his karma comments he has left me!!!

We are missing him terribly right now, so please tell him that we DEMAND that he gets better and comes back to play with us ASAP!!!

You and your family are in all of our thoughts hun!

I accidentally made my post in the birthday thread last night, deleted it, and didn't have time to come back. The thoughts I expressed have been related by many here, so I'll keep it short.
Chuck, we're all pulling for you, buddy...know that you're in our thoughts (as is your family).
 
Thank you to all of you for your messages. I know he would want all of you to know and I will tell him later when I get back to the hospital about all of the messages. The doctors and nurses say they believe that he can hear me although he is not responsive. Hopefully that will change and he will wake up soon (I like to think he is just sleeping).

I know how my husband can be a little rough at times, to say the least, but he has a deep care for all of you and the hobby. That is just his way, which I miss so terribly.

It makes me feel like he is here when I come on and see the posts. Thank you to all of you and I hope you and your families are doing well.
 
Maggie - I work in a critical care setting, and have spoken to many patients as they recover. The memories vary, and are reduced by the current medications of choice; but I'm confident that a good number of patients can hear what is being said to them, regardless of how "out of it" they may seem. Please do tell him about these posts, and that all of us are hoping for the best.

(don't be surprised if he doesn't remember - that doesn't mean he didn't hear)

We may just be a bunch of herper nuts, but WE ARE FAMILY!!! And that includes you, Chuck and the rest of the Kimmel clan!!

That was the sweetest and I know that you are all family. I am sitting here crying, but in a good way this time (for the 100th time I have probably cried today). Thank you so much for that. It makes me feel closer to him by being here with you all, which is so strange because none of us have ever met and before yesterday I had never posted, but I am always here with him when he is posting and he always updates me on what is going.

You are all wonderful people and I truly appreciate the love and support.

All the best to Chuck for a speedy and full recovery. This place wouldn't be the same without him. All the prayers that everyone sent for mine and my wife's loss, please send them to Chuck. Sandra is a strong woman and she'll manage. Chuck needs them right now. I love all you guys, and Chuck's one-liners and wit kept me laughing to tears on more than one occasion. GET WELL SOON, CHUCKIE! SLAP CHOP!
