    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Greetings fellow amphibian enthusiasts,

I have several Himalayan Crocodile Newts (Tylototriton verrucosus) ready to go into new homes. This is called the 'Dark variant'; and is much more aquatic in its lifestyle than other forms of verrucosus and other species of Tylototriton. They are between 3-4", living the aquatic life and eating live black worms and frozen bloodworms. You should have a well established aquarium, with plenty of floating live plants at the water line as well as a small cork island to haul out on. I have them at 68-70F.

They are $120 each. I am not interested in off loading my animals for cheap, bulk discounts. These aren't the commonly found Spanish ribbed newts that a simple water change induces breeding.

If you want to get top quality newts at bargain prices, get in your car and drive to Tinley Park and be first in line at NARBC next weekend. The demand for rare, exotic newts is high; and quite frankly, there are only a handful of dedicated caudate breeders left in the USA. Support your newtman.

Shipping is by overnight priority express FedEX only; typically between 75-80$, but it can be more. This is 2022. The cost of everything is up.
