    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Awesome little month-old Honduran Spinytail Iguanas! Asking $100 each (a few with kinked tails, asking $75 each for them - otherwise perfect and healthy) plus shipping. PayPal only. Numerous videos of them, their older sibling I kept from last year (Lucky) and parents (Bossk and Tiamat) on my YouTube channel (link in profile). Message any questions please.

tufferdanu,

I have a yearling that I kept back from last year and he's about 6-7" SVL now (compared to these month old ones with a 2" SVL). Probably takes betwen 2-3 years to get full, adult size. Hope that helps!

To what size does C. melanosterna grow?

Also, how would you describe their temperament overall?

Lastly, do these individuals tend to be of the blue color morph?

Three feet is given as a maximum length in some literature, but 2 to 2.5 is probably more accurate. Regarding being "blue", I invite you to check out my Instagram page, username: knightanole, to see pics of Bossk and Tiamat (parents) under various lighting - to include natural sun outdoors - to see if you think they are "blue". I'm honestly a bit color-blind and couldn't tell you if they display bluish every now and then or not. Also, if you have the time, please check out my YouTube channel for a ton of videos of me interacting with them. Temperament obviously will vary between individuals, but mine are what I would describe as calm and take my presence quite well. They don't like to be held for long periods of time, but do tolerate neck and dewlap scratches.
