    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Culling normal offspring because they're "ugly". Ethical?

Those who would advocate culling a normal are simply not real herpers, just people full of themselves.
 
I am appalled by this completely. The two breeders who said this should take a step back and rethink this whole hobby they are in. i fully understand the want for exceptional morphs there is profit to be maid with them. Both of them have forgotten a simple truth, normals still have those genes in them even if they don't show it and people still love and enjoy the wild type or "normal" animals. culling normals due to an "ugly" statues is arrogant and has no place in this hobby. Culling animals that have birth defects and are weak is understandable, also culling an animal due to refusal to eat is acceptable when it is the last case scenario. Honest to god this is a horrible practice and should not be condoned by anyone who loves this hobby. To the two that said these things i say welcome to your Michael Vick moment and you just proved the HSUS right in there believe that people who keep boas and python shouldn't do to the animals welfare
