Want healthy female cuora amboinensis amboinensus (Malayasian/Indonesian box turtle, species and subspecies amboinensis.
My male turtle needs a female companion. He is approximately 6 1/2 inches long, 5 inches wide.
One can see from the picture the subspecies - ordinary brown color. Important to have female of same subspecies since otherwise could be too domed, etc.
In the 4 years I have owned him, he has grown quite a bit and appears to be healthy - due to good diet, fresh air and sunlight during part of the day.
I live in San Diego, California.
