In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Curious about some midwest shows.....

There is a small list I have of reptile shows I might be interested in checking out. However most of them are a few hours drive for me. (I live in Columbus, Ohio? Are these shows worth the travel? I.E. Nice selection of vendors and animals. I go to the All Ohio show monthly, so I guess it could be used for comparison.
Thanks.
1. the All Cleveland reptile show
2. N.O.A.H.'s show up in Cleveland
3. the Pittsburgh reptile show
4. the Indianapolis Reptile Breeders Expo (I guess it's part of the monthly Midwest reptile show, is it different than the monthly shows? I have attended one of the shows.)

The All Cleveland show is run by the same people who do the All Ohio show. There will be a lot of the same vendors at both but the All Cleveland show will have some Vendors from the Cleveland area that don't go down to the Columbus area.

The Pittsburgh show hasn't been to my liking for quite a while.

There is also a show in Butler PA., which is just a little North of Pittsburgh. I am more impressed with that show than Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately the NOAH show has been disappointing as of late.

I have no feedback on the Indy show since I haven't attended it.

I've been to Indy!

We go to Indy pretty much every month, it has gotten a little smaller since this past winter as far as vendors go, but the breeders show in Aug. should be a real good show. What types of herps are you looking for?

Thanks for the responses.
I'm looking for albino or giant leopard geckos. I also would be interested in corn snakes. (I have an interest in acquiring house snakes too, but they seem to have fallen out of interest a while back and hard to find. Though I like them :) Generally I like shows with a varied selection.

The Midwest show varies from month to month, and you have to be careful with who you deal with (but isn't that every show?) The August breeder's expo is usually a big show and lots of snake, gecko and beardie people were there last year. It is nice since it is a CB only show. I haven't been to Columbus in a while, but keep meaning to go.

You should

be able to find all the corn snakes you could possibly want at these shows this time of yr. Find out what show DAND will be at next, he has great corn snakes. I have not seen much of a selection of leos lately at Indy though.

Thanks.
I've noticed enough leos, but not enough morphs of leos at the All Ohio show also. Well I'm going to the Chicago N.A.R.B.C. in October, I can look for albino giant leos then.
