I'm selling a custom built reptile terrarium which I built about 10 years ago. The outer dimensions are 69" tall, 29.75" wide and 20" deep. It is divided into two compartments (see below). The door is a thick (3/4-1") piece of acrylic framed in wood with two keyed locks and weather striping inside to seal any gaps. The left side is a large piece of fine aluminum window screen to allow proper airflow. It would be great for smaller arboreal lizards and any snakes. At the top of the cabinet is concealed slide out panel which has a UV light strip and a ceramic light bulb fitting mounted inside. Both of these are wired together to one grounded plug so that both can be plugged in at once. I put a lot of effort into this cage and am asking $500 for it (the filter alone was $120 new). Local pickup in Greenville, SC area. Note that the plants have long since died...

Compartment 1: reptile enclosure
The upper space is fully enclosed for housing a reptile and measures about 25" x 32". The enslosure has a custom carved and painted "rock" wall which was made out of foam, silicone, and covered with Drylock to seal it. THe Drylock was mixed with pigment and layered in different colors to give it a more natural looking effect. An outlet pipe is in the top righ corner and creates a small pool (fist sized) which then overflows into a waterfall down the right side into a couple pools until it spills into a large pool in the bottom right corner. The pool was constructed out of a styrofoam shipping container with a drain installed and liberally sealed with silicone. On the left hand side of the bottom is a large planter which can be filled with soil for live plants. Other small pockets are on the walls for other live plants. The ceiling is fine aluminum wire to allow the UV light to pass through but prevent escapes.
Compartment 2: filter housing
The bottom section has a Life Guard mechanical filter (model AF94) and piping with shut-off valves to allow the filter to be removed without draining the pipes. It also has a outflow pipe which can be easily attached with a hose or emptied into a 5 gallon bucket. The filter is a high flow filter with enough power to push water up the internal pipes to flow out of the waterfall at the top of interior compartment. The filter also has an inner compartment which can hold a packet of activated charcoal and paper filter. The filter itself is a bit overkill, but the pump presure was needed to push the water up the pipes to make the waterfall flow properly. A shut off valve can be adjusted to reduce/increase the flow.
Compartment 3: lighting
The top section is a hidden drawer which slides out. On the underside is mounted a 18" or 24" UV light strip and a ceramic light fixture. These are both wired together into a single grounded plug so the whole lighting system can be opperated with a timer. There is also a wide adjustable vent to increase air flow. The aluminum screen between this section and the terrarium section is sandwiched between 1x4s and pretty solid.
