    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Custom-made 8×5.5×4 reptile enclosure

I'm trying to sell my custom 8×5.5×4 reptile enclosure. My monitor passed away a while ago and I need to sell it before I move in August.
Made out of mostly pine and plywood. Windows on the doors are plexiglass. Outside isn't super pretty, but since it's plain you could paint it and make it your own! I made it in 2 sections to make handling it easier. The bottom section is lined with FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) all the way up and is waterproofed. The inside of the top section is painted and weatherproofed. Also has 2 vents, one on the side, and one on the back. It holds humidity VERY well.
I made it with a 5 light ballast, and 5 other light fixtures. 2 for night lights, 1 for a viewing light, and 2 for the ceramic heat emitters I'm throwing in. Day/night light switches on the front with a hand painted cover.
The water tub inside drains out the front for easy cleaning. Also throwing in my Sainsonic infrared thermometer, my ZooMed ReptiTemp 500R thermostat, 2 temperature/humidity readers, and a litter scoop. Also, I have lots of rocks if you need them for the drainage layer in your substrate!
Building this cost me around $2500 for all the materials and equipment. Hoping to get at least $1000, as it's still in good shape and to be honest, you can't get enclosures this big for anything less than that. I am totally willing to negotiate though!
Pickup only, I live in Carleton Michigan. Serious inquiries only please. Call or text (734)407-9257 and ask for Tony Smoot
