    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone done business with them? The website shows a number of impressive pictures and cites a lot of good feedback, but I've been burned before, and would like confirmation before purchasing.

Thanks.

It really depends on what you want the cages for...I bought some - I think they were just starting to advertise on ebay at the time - and quickly decided they didn't suit my purposes. Most of them have sat unused (I did store newspapers in one for a while, and one of the others still holds my shipping supplies and a box of long tweezers :D )

Harald if I may ask.... what was the reasoning for them not suiting your needs?

I was just about to ask the same thing. Also, I take it from the lack of any commentary on it that the transaction went over well? No insane waits with even crazier excuses, etc?

I just decided that they weren't well suited to the animals I was going to keep in them. When I said it depends on what you want them for, what I meant was it depends on what you are going to put in them.

This was several years ago - probably 2004 (possibly early 2005) - so I'm a bit fuzzy on some of the details. I don't recall anything unusual about the delivery time; but one shipment did arrive with a very strong smell from the sealant/varnish, and I had to leave in on the porch for a few days to air out. A couple of cages needed some minor adjustment with a hammer - just a few loose nails, probably from shipping. Overall, the cages seemed to be a decent value (provided one actually uses them, lol).
