    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

thanks for clarifying that. i thought it was odd scott didnt testify for himself but you never know. just like you never know who you can trust these days. may your breeding season be plentiful!

What a shame. Sorry for what you had to go through Kevin and all of you over at NERD. You do so much for our hobby and I hope this wont deter you from trusting people as well helping everyone around you.

This comes hard to me simply because I thought Scott was one of the good guys. Maybe he was at one time. Hell, its not like I met him when I bought my Snow Boa. I hope his family will get through this as it wasnt their fault, just Scotts.

Such a bad story for the hobby.
 
lol they are both over an hour away from me! i took me a little long to get to scotts because of traffic and i got lost a couple times. but i cant make from kevins to scotts under 15 minutes lol.
 
The white lace is a pretty cool morph and its to bad Scott didnt get the chance to introduce it to the ball python world, he waited way to long which was entirely his fault besides I view it as a little better then the yellow belly... that was in fact why his former employee J quit that Sunday..Scott threatened to fire him if he took any pictures of the lace project, Scott was serious about firing Jay at the time .... Thats why he quit thats right he quit he didnt get fired and never asked for his job back...really not sure how you actually fire someone who doesnt legally work for you in the first place?.. Is that considered slave labor? Even with our Live Free or Die laws Im pretty sure you have to file employees with the government and state for you know things like social security, income tax stuff like that..

Jay did not get his snakes (carpet pythons) back from Kevin... Jay sold his carpets to Kevin for money thats it, no mystery. ..
Jay still has his breeders and they are doing very well... He and I have owned Carpets for many years and we both have Red Hypo Jaguar Coastel Carpets he has the male and I have the female

Jay did NOT except any bribe at all there was no bribe, he just simply told the truth in court.. Kevin did not offer nor did any of his employees offer Jay anything that day.
I was there that day this is first hand information... A mutual friend who was there said if there where 2 to pick which would you pick? No one offered Jay anything except a really cool tour of the facility....

I can attest to the fact that Kevin HAS NOT stopped trusting people and that is a good thing, just because one idiot screws up doesn't mean that there aren't good people out there that can be trusted. I have only been friends with Kevin for a few short months and have been lucky enough to earn his trust with ALL his animals. I'm allowed to walk around to any room at NERD and look in any bin i'd like without anyone there so I can do my videos and pictures, that being said I understand that I am a very very lucky person to have such privilege in such an important place in our hobby and would never even think about stealing or hurting any animal or anything there (well, there or any place else because i guess i was just raised right) ,Scott did something horrible and as a hobby we must stick together and weed out the bad ones, maybe at some point Scott was a good person but now he's gone and done something that can't be defended in any way. Like someone else said on here there are plenty of good people selling good quality animals so there's no need to buy from the ones that drag our hobby thru the mud :NoNo:
 
Thanks for clarifying Kevin. It's too bad the rest of the "dirt under the sheet" could not have been exposed in court. ;)

Okay, Let's begin by asking Kevin this question. Were you aware that (Josh) the kid that stole your snake to sell Scott admitted on the stand that he had lied during his interrogation. He was in fact not asked by Scott to steal any snakes for him. Or did your friend Cindy neglect to text you this information before the judge closed the doors to the courtroom and asked the bailiff to take the jury back out of the courtroom. So that he may address the fact that there would be no more texting from inside his courtroom. I do believe that the judge addressed her personally regarding this matter.

Well, I do feel better that it was receiving rather than conspiracy or even worse. Hopefully his family will stay strong and survive the mistake(s) made. Again, I can only feel for scott's family as well as NERD.

First's of let's start with the idea that you think that Cindy was texting me while in or outside of the Courtroom. She was NOT texting me anything. All information about the trial was told to me at another time. May I go blind if I am lying.

As far as what Josh said matters little to me. In fact that is a moot point I know what I was told and the process that occurred proves it. As soon as the snake left my building it went STRAIGHT to CV Exotics. FACT! There is a connection. Scott KNEW he was buying a rare and stolen snake, you know he was aware of all of this.

The more impressive ideas are that Scott did not know what the snake was.
He did not know its value.
He did not know it was my snake, why did he visit my Axanthic Killer Bee page the night it was stolen.
Why did he say he would rather kill the snake than return it to me...in front of several people even after his employee Jason said he would bring the snake back to me.

Sheldon, the question is would you have lied on the stand when they asked you any of this? You knew the snake was mine, you knew it was stolen and you were not happy about it. Will you lie to cover the endless procession of lies your son creates to cover his tracks?

Why was Scott's security tape cut into three sections? You were there when this sale went down. You watched Dan shake his head when he saw the snake and did not want anything to do with it!!!!!! He knew what it was, he keeps ball pythons, his expression and behavior said it all on that video. Why was that video missing?

Your son is a pathological story teller. He USES people....... Why do you expect others to believe his lies and why do you expect people to lie for him when he abuses people?

I understand you are his Dad, you protect him when you can but at some point your son has to be a man and accept what he has done and LEARN.

Scott seems to have a "learning disability".

Another lovely point is that Scott may have further problems.

Witness tampering before, during and after the trial. Two witnesses have given statements that Scott tried to have their stories altered and changed to help him. We are not talking a few things here...interviews, taped interviews and an investigator appointed by the DA's office.

This is a fact.

Scott will face these issues when his sentence is decided.

Unfortunately crime does pay in many ways and laws seem to protect people like Scott...

If it was a simple matter of Scott buying my stolen snake, getting caught with it and actually being sorry we would not be here. I have broad shoulders and can handle alot.

What I can not handle are endless lies and THIS!

There is no silver lining with this one.....

As far as conspiracy...


The DA went for the simple conviction.
We are after all talking about snakes. They don't understand our fascination. At best, it is interesting and amusing. I was lucky they even cared, sad but this is true. They just wanted the conviction, this almost 'stupid" sounding case drained the courts and state's resources to some extent.

Rather amazing how laws make it easy for criminals..... this case does have some weird turns and additional issues to consider.

I am rather interested in you take Sheldon.

Sometimes people who know they did the wrong thing, will lie about it so many times that they begin to think that they are the real victim, and did nothing wrong. This is a sad event...
