    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The video speaks for itself. And yes this is me. Yes there are pictures. And yes. It is a death camp. DO NOT DONATE, DROP OFF, OR OTHERWISE PROVIDE "help" to this guy. EVER. I went to volunteer and found it a gracious mistake as I was going to buy a boa until I saw how bad they were.

The video describes everything as well as the pictures I was able to obtain at the end of the video. The animals are suffering and after talking with the vet he is suppose to be using the vet hasnt seen him in years. TUCSON PEOPLE BEWARE.

 
Absolutely heartbreaking. I have shared this on FB and Twitter. Hopefully with more complaints, the local authorities will take action.
 
Please explain the "other resources" you referenced in the video (anonymous third party quotes are not allowed on the BOI)
 
I am a little confused...did you work there or go to volunteer? - because here you state volunteer and on another forum you state "No I quit outright, i got there signed some paperwork, found out I would get paid only if he got enough money to do so. So ef that."

Was this two separate incidents? Could you clarify a little please?

was suppose to be volunteering but he said I would get paid and use time doing the work to get a snake so then it turned into a job, then he said he would only pay if he got around to it. I left because the animals cannot be saved by a small framed 22 year old woman mucking out half a ton of garbage from ONE tort pit.
I really dont want this to devolve against me, I came here tryint to spread the word about how badly the animals are and it just seems to flip flop into something else.

If anyone would like to call the phoenix herp rescue they have been with me since the start. Their info is all on this page http://www.phoenixherp.com/ they can vouch for what ive said, as for getting them to get here, if they are as busy as they say they are then I doubt they have time to reply directly here unless contacted.

That being said I would like this conversation not to derail in how I should have worked ect, the place is a mess and that is the subject focus mater of this post. If I am wrong here then I will bugger off and leave, I was just trying to get a warning out.

No one said anything at all against you :confused:
All I asked was for some clarification because your story changed from one forum to another...it was a simple question and not an attack, nor was it written as one
 
Look at it this way, would you want someone to come here and talk bad about you without being questioned on their motives? I know I wouldn't. Nobody is out to get you, but asking "critical" questions helps to paint the full picture.

i apologize, right now i am in just a bit of an ill mood, on another forum some were hyper critical as to why I left as if me doing backbreaking free labor when I expected pay, in the end would fix anything- it wont. I assumed the video was enough evidence though I suppose not. I dont know what else you guys really want from this other than a dead animal because that is whats going to happen. I cannot speak for others but if you were to call orange grove animal hospital in tucson and ask they will tell you the situation and it will match, i have also contacted the zoo, PACC, ACT and yet nothing is done, I am just so ill and angry and again in advance I am sorry if i misread something,
 
You also have to understand that although this place is obviously a dump and conditions should/could be a whole lot better, that the reason most animals end up in rescues is that they ARE skinny and they ARE in bad shape (iggy with the face problem)...that is WHY they end up there....

I didn't check the website but are they even a legal rescue? They cannot keep their licensing in that kind of condition...there is something else going on...

Everyone knows in the vet world that this place is a death camp and they never see vet care. Idk if they are a legal rescue, their animals are the worst ive ever seen,
 
I have gone to their website and got their phone number. I called them to let them know about this thread. Hopefully they will respond.

the problem is they lie and lie about damn near everything or know nothing about anything, "iggies have to fight for their food"- no, they shouldnt, you should feed them in separate places if this happens. The tegu thats a year old is "perfect size". Torts can burp out citric acid. I am just throttled. The orange grove animal hospital is also very angry. The boas are emaciated, so are the JCP. the beardie as well as everything else has NO uvb bulb.The vet wasnt surprised. I can get DR JARCO on here maybe later tomorrow when he isnt busy. He is the head herp vet in tucson as far as I know.
