Let me start off by saying I was totally happy with the snakes I recieved from Chris last April when I ordered them in Feb. I understand about the cold northern weather I live in Ohio so winters here are also brutal (not quite as bad as Canadian border but still), I also understand about Bob feeling of being more than a little put off because I felt the same with no emails keeping me updated, I was the one who had to email and wait 3-4 days for an email and when I would get one it would be along the lines of you have to wait your turn which again I understand but it is pretty bad practice to keep taking on more orders than you can fill in a timely fashion. And Brian if anyone is sounding "smart alecky" it would have to be you. But thats just my opinion. Like I said Bob you just have to suck it up and tough it out you will get the snakes and it will take some time and I can pretty much guarantee they will be ok.

Again this illness thing of Chris's is terrible I mean it would have to be if hes in bed 18-20 hours a day and like I said in a post earlier it was almost to the day the exact same time last year that I got that excuse so he has to have some kind of terminal illness to be sick that bad for a year straight. (I hope not but you know what I mean) But Herluver said it right "We should have more info on Glenn and Patrick" and that should be Chris's job to bring that info forward and to post that since he is no longer is running the show over there. Because personally I was happy with the het albino girls I bought from him, left him a good feedback and thread on here and he did the same for me so Im not defending him nor am I blasting him Im berating his practices. But I would never buy again from TSE or Chris for the simpple fact I feel that it was in Chris's hands last year and still I recieved no emails until I got in touch with him first and still waited months for the animals. It seems that I was not the only one.

Tosha I will be the first to admit that Chris could have cut the deal he had with me for the simple fact was I was trying to sell the hets I purchased from him before he actually shipped them, which now the way he explained it to me was not good business on my part but hey Im am new to this and realize the folly in that. The reason for that was I was trying to buy a albino retic but I got a killer deal on a male albino BP so I changed my order with Chris from a 100% het male and female and a 50% het female to just a 0.2 pair of 100% het females which he changed and shipped perfectly after the weather permitted him. But like I said before hes a great guy. Thanks again Chris the females are great looking. And people be looking forward to some albino and 100% hets from me in the next few years and also some other things.

Damian, here you state on 4/16/06 that you purchased the 0.2 pair of hets from Chris and people should be looking forward to some albinos and hets from you in the future. This was posted on the TSE thread. In this thread here you state that you sold the hets before the TSE scandal. Could you clarify those statements, please?

Jon and I talked about this exact thread today. Jon those were some sweet pics brother and I can wait to get my female pastel from you that I had to wait an entire 3 days for LOL!!! Bob also dont let Mike brow beat you about the way you feel about Chris basically robbing you, I mean you dont know either of them from Joe Schmoe. Really look at it this way Mike if someone robbed you on the street and they were caught taken to trial and pleaded they were sick that they should get off you would be a little more than irate. Another thing Chris has had this excuse as I said in my post in the first few pages of this thread for over a year now, and BTW I did leave TSE a good feedback on here after recieving 2 healthy female albino "hets".

As stated in the other thread that spawned this the hets were sold literally weeks after recieving them and way before the TSE scandal came to light. And if the person I bought them from will come forward I will make the situation good. I have nothing to hide no bad deals thats why my phone number is on my website Im only a phone call away. And as far as the references from my site go they are old and havent been updated to remove the people that are some of the bottom feeders such as Matt Greaybeal that I did recieve everything I bought from him but was ALWAYS weeks later, Chris Johnson who of course everyone knows that situation and Im sure Im not the only one burnt by him so anyone else that has dealt with him must be a bad person in the great Jim O.'s eyes as well. But Sal Tornambe I had no complaints about and can say I bought my very first trio of normal bp's from him but dont condone what he did to others. Hope this helps

Happened to any one of us.

While trying to retrieve timelines and such, even I don't remember every single detail of my past with absolute clarity.

Perhaps this thread did get Damian to re-think his stance about the "hets" he received from TSE, BUT, remember, Chris did not start out as a "Bad Guy". He very well may have had some legitimate Hets at the time and the reason the person who purchased them from Damian has not contacted him is that they in fact did prove out.

I know, the chances of that happening are a likely as people in Hell needing parkas, but stranger things have happened.

The fact that Damian is as organised as a thunderstorm (sorry Damian, but your recordkeeping seems to be a little hit or miss ) shouldn't be a reason to label him a "bad guy" as such. A simple recommendation that he should practice better record keeping in the future would have sufficed.

I mean, have you ever paid a bill or something and you KNOW you paid, but the company or person says their records indicate you did not. So you search through your records desperately trying to find the receipt only to realize that that particular receipt is the ONLY one you can't find?

Even meticulous record keepers can lose or misplace things.

I guess what I am trying to say (and not very well probably) is that we should probably put the tar and feathers away until Damian gives us a good valid reason, which so far seems to be lacking. Then out with the pitchforks and torches.

If you buy a car with the warranty and sell it and the warranty can transfer and the owner of the car now has problems he doesn't come to you to fix it. He isn't looking for the previous owner to pony up his expenses, the company that made the car honors the warranty not previous owners. So in my opinion the two examples are apples and oranges.

I guess that I am in the minority but I think you getting ahold of him and taking care of this is the way to go. I don't get it he is taking care of a situation that he made a mistake. He didn't produce the fake hets. Yet there are other threads where someone sold fake hets (he didn't produce them either) that proved out fake and some of you defended that guy. It seems pretty inconsistent how some of you make your judgements.

Whether this can be called an "error in judgement" has been debated within this thread. It is evident that there are opinions either way. My opinion is that this topic would have been better served in the general business discussion forum and not the BOI. Dan Garcia got it right in his only post here.

The problem with that is that the issue had been raised, and the individual named, in a concurrent BOI thread. It would have been obvious as to whom this applied, and not a "hypothetical" question more suited to the general business forum. The cat was out of the proverbial bag by then.

If the money is refunded and the girls are sent back (not sure who foots that bill) then in end Damien basically held Justin's money at no interest and Justin is out the time and costs he spent on the care of the two hets for two years?
