I just did something pretty interesting. I had this board list all threads in order of their views. Of all the threads started on here Dan has moved up to the 7th most viewed thread here. If you take out the stalker thread and the Neil vs Dave Lawson threads, which weren't started as "Bad Guy" threads then Dan is all the way up to #3.

On a more serious note, Dan, you must be in denial.  I tried to tell you how to help yourself out.  Instead of taking my advice, you continue to post these infantile insults.  The best thing you could do for yourself now is to drop out of site and stop selling animals for a year or two, don't post any stupid, inane threats, suggestions, or insults anywhere, and after you have matured a bit, start over.

Wow, Dan.  I am so glad that you feel that everyone's collection sucks but yours.  I know my collections sucks in your eyes, it's all healthy.  Also, everyone else here must have crapppy collections, too.  I mean really, take myself for instance.  I keep something around 30 species of herps ranging from bearded dragons to Giant Geckos to Green Tree Pythons to yellow-foot tortoises, but compared to the VAST and impressive two or three species you house temporarily, that is downright crappy and I am so jealous of you I simply can't stand it anymore(OH, has anyone's sarcasm alarm gone off yet?).

Also, I have been around the herp business for years and for some odd reason, I have yet to see your name except here on this board.  Why would that be Dan?  I mean, you've been a big player in this industry for SIX years right?  So you should be right up there with Pete Kahl, Bob Clark, Brian Sharp, and so many others, right?  Your name should be the next on that list when I think of big name snake breeders, right?   I wonder why it is not, OH, I know why, YOU are the nobody sir.  

Also, if you are such a stand up guy, why won't you answer the questions posed to you?  They are VERY relevant to anyone doing business with you and you would realize this if you spent time thinking instead of asking us for sexual favors.  If you refuse to explain why you overcharged a customer roughly $150 for shipping, then you basically look like a thief.  Sorry, no nice way to say that.  

Anyway, bottom line, grow up, nut up, and show up.  If you had any idea how to do business you would spend less time making threats and lude comments and answer the questions regarding your shady practices.

I'm not so sure I like anyone associating anything related to Python with Dan... the Python boys were six of the funniest human beings to walk the face of the planet... 1. He has clearly threatened physical violence to a number of parties on this site. What you guys need to do now is report it to the abuse coordinator at Kingnsnake. They do work with the FBI on these kind of things. Maybe he will be charged, or not, I dont know. But, at the least they will pull his account. And that should hurt his cat business, as I cant imagine that there all that many forums for exotic cats that can compare with Kingsnake.

2. His high school girlfriend: somebody should report this thread to the Hollywood, Fla, police department. You see, the original poster said something to the effect 'her being in high school at Christmas of last year.': She is 19 now. Wow! Dan, you are much man (dripping with sarcasm)! In either case, the police will look into it. She may have been under 18 when they got together. Further, her parents may not know all about him. They would be able to press charges if it can be proved that he was with her prior to her 18th birthday.

3. Dan's chronic man-love for a lot of the posters on this board. This, I can not explain. But it leads me to believe that he just might enjoy all those rousing bouts of 'shower room steeplechase' when he is in the joint.

I see Dan is still up to his old games. I've already been questioned about him concerning other rip-offs with this loser. I dont get on the boards much anymore, as im straying from this hobby all together. Just an FYI, the albino boa that was shipped to us, is STILL being treated by my vet. Its still sick! People like Dan make me sick. Snakes are one thing in my life i truly enjoy caring for, and breeding. People like Dan have destroyed that for me. Last winter i had decided to part with my collection after being ripped off, and shipped MANY sick animals. This last deal with Dan Bifield was an attempt to get back into the hobby, and try my hand at an albino boa project with a friend. As usual, Jeremy and i got ripped, and shipped sick animals. It has just left me quite sour from the whole thing. Especially when Jeremy is still shelling out money for the sick snakes Dan sent us.

I am going to take a stab at this and say that I think you mis-read the point of the recent post.

Here is a synopsis:

Dan Bifield, a notorious scumbag in the hobby for years, has been MIA for sometime. Recently, a suspected scammer named Melissa Mcvey had a thread started on her. Several telltale bits of evidence led to the belief that she was not on the level.

A reverse search on the phone number she offerred showed that it belonged to the infamous Mr. Bifield.

Conclusion 1.) Dan Bifield and Melissa McVey are one and the same. (Likely)

Conclusion 2.) Melissa McVey is selling animals in conjunction with Dan Bifield. (Also likely)

Conclusion 3.) Melissa McVey is a reputable breeder and does not realize she lives in Dan's house. (Highly unlikely)

I can pretty much guaranty you that no one on this board has any problem with reptile breeders who happen to be "girly breeders".

actually let me shed some light on this situation

the truth of the mater is that melisa is dans estranged wife. dan woke up one day and just took off leaving melisa with a stack of bills. he has not been heard of in about 6 months. melisa is just trying to sell off the boas that she has a substantial investment in seeing that now that dan is out of the picture she is just trying to recoup her lost funds. i dont know if this helps anyone any but melisa is one of the sweetest individuals anyone will ever meet and i have seen the animals personaly and know they are what they are being sold as and i know some of the animals were purchased from jeremy stone so im sure he will have no problem verifing that they are what they are being sold as
