Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dan Duvall Not looking good

THIS IS PRETTY AMAZING!

I have looked at this thread since it started,, and i was hoping Tim would just get his money back,,, but Now 3200 people have viewed this thread, and this Dan Duvall moron is no closer to sending Tim his money back than the N.O. Saints have a chance on winning the superbowl! ( and they are not even playing!) So Just to make sure i have this straight i want to recount this guys business practices,,,
You can buy a snake from me, send me $400.00 bucks, and if it dies in 18 hours, So sorry!
Second,, you still owe me $100.00 for shipping, so if you pay that, i will refund the whole purchase price,,, "cause a deal is a deal".
I am sure anyone who was in Tims shoes would happily send someone who won't return the portion of the price he already has another $100.00 bucks! Damn that to me has got to be the most moronic business paractice i have ever heard!
Third,, I will replace the snake with another snake you have never seen, and that should be ok,,, you should not have any right to refuse it, and ask for a refund..
Fourth,, Here is a guy who is flushing his reputation in the reptile world down the drain over $400.00 bucks! These threads don't go away,,,, they stay around ,,, and problems can occur,,, but it is how you handle them that shows your true colors,,,,! All someone has to do is do a search on you and they will find these threads,,, You and only you have the ability to turn all this around, or continue these crazy "business practices"( and i use that term very loosely in this thread), and screw a guy who just wants what any of us would want,,, The reason this thread is so long and so many people have "chimed in" is simple,, any of us could have purchased the very same snake from you,, and we could be in the position that Tim is in right now,, None of us would stand for it either!
All Tim wants is what he entitled to,,, nothing more,, and nothing less,,,
I mean come on if you Mr Duval purchased a big screen TV and paid $1500.00 bucks for it,, and it quit working in 18 hours would you want your money back,,?
There are Really only 2 types of threads on the BOI,,,, "good guy"
and"Bad Guy" Why don't you do the right thing and try for a "good guy" post next time,,,because 3,200 people have seen this "bad guy" post! Add another one to the list of WHO TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!

giving back my money would be so hard for DAN DUVALL OF VA.The saying
"No honor among thieves,"comes to mind. If anyone knows a legal and
inexpensive way to get the money back from DAN DUVALL OF VA ,please let me know. It is obvious DAN DUVALL OF VA. does not care about his reputation

Joe, I tried to sum it all up for Mr. Duvall in my first post, I really thought this would just turn into another legit business man that had a few bad weeks and just needed a friendly reminder to get things taken care of, But Boy was I wrong, This guy has singlehandedly become his own worst enemy by his Poorly thought out self destroying posts. I honestly think that if we removed all the other posts But the origional one and Dan's three posts, Anyone reading this could see that Dan cant even keep his story strait..

return my $400. Be careful he may be using another name or buisiness
to deal under. I believe there are no lengths too great for DAN DUVALL

Wow, talk about beating a dead horse! Dan, can I pretty please have my
money back? It seems to be in vain, but I promised never to give up this post.
I'm more than willing to devote at least a decade to this injustice. Meeting someone that rips you off, then tries to tell you it's your fault was a new and shocking experience for me. Sorry for rambling, I need to pace myself. This may be a long haul! SCORE: DAN DUVALL OF VA. $4OO,TIM LANE:$000.

Tim, I would venture to guess that if Dan was going to refund your money, he would have done it by now.

I would think you are within a reasonable distance to file in small claims court. I believe if you win, not only can you recover what the snake cost, but you can also recover all the travel fees you inccured in order to file such suit.
 
Actually Tim, the score is much worse for Dan. Especially if he has any interest at all in doing any serious reptile business. The word is out on this guy and unless he makes it right with you including full apologies he will never make it.
The longer he keeps your money, the more difficult it will be for him to establish himself. Of course, if he had any brains at all he would realize this and he would have already taken care of you. So it's really not looking good for your $400.
But at least you can take heart knowing that this $400 will eventually cost him untold thousands.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I don't think I have cost Dan Duvall of VA a dime. He pretty much made his own bed and knows nothing of shame not to lie in it. If you ask me, he cost me untold thousands being the dead blurry was of breeding size. That $400 could have multiplied for me in ways too numerous to mention. My goal in this is not to ruin DAN DUVALL, he would have done a good enough job of that on his own. I'm just here to warn people not to make the same mistake that I did and to always CHECK REFERENCES! THEY WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER! The real victim in this case was the beautiful snake that died eighteen hours after I received it.

I was checking out some other postings, and it seems to be people are not going to sit around and take being screwed any longer! I am so thankful that there is a site like this. DAN DUVALL OF VA may never return my $400, but at least I have a chance through this site to warn hundreds about this man's dishonest business practices! Dan, it's still not too late, there are more than money and reputation at stake. I hope you will be able to see that soon.

Michael, I don't think DAN DUVALL OF VA is gone away at all. DAN is simply waiting,and hoping that I will go away eventually. Only the people that know me can say for sure. I'd like to make an honest man out of DAN DUVALL, but it's proving to be quite a job. Maybe it is not even possible. As of right now I'm looking into laws on credit cards, and my rights in small claims court. DAN DUVALL, IF I CAN'T GET MY $400 LEGALLY I WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER! Note to Micheal; our new yellow belly is breeding like a MOFO!!
