    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dan Duvall Not looking good

I see that Dan Duvall from Va is back on KS. I see my four hundred dollars has been well spent to help him acquire beautiful animals. Too bad I haven't benefited. He still refuses to send me my money for the dead snake. I only hope that anyone who chooses to purchase an animal from him is lucky enough for it to live because "all sales are final" with Dan Duvall.

female for a replacement , since that is what you wanted a
replacement animal not the refund you were offered. I have
had this replacement animal you wanted for some time now

For you to have purchased a replacement animal sight unseen for him was purely a bad business move. If the animal is worth $400, sell it and give the man the money back that he's paid you.

Have you seen pictures of this replacement "blurry" ball? In MHO you should request a picture before agreeing to receive a replacement animal. If you do receive one, would you mind sharing it with us? Do you have pictures of first "blurry" for which you paid $400?

If you were the purchaser in this situation, do you think you'd finish paying ($100 of a full price of $400) for a dead animal so that you could receive a replacement animal that you didn't see or agree to?

I can't believe that someone who runs a business is taking this stand. What in heaven's name is your reasoning? The customer is unhappy.....quite unhappy. You are damaging your reputation with future customers day by day. How many people have seen this thread? This is worth $300 to you?

By the way, I don't know Tim or any of his partners, have never spoken to them or emailed with them or sold anything to them or bought anything from them. I just simply think you're absolutely wrong on this, from an ethical standpoint and a business standpoint.

This is a picture of the snake that I purchased in November 2003. I paid $400 for it then and owed $80 in shipping expenses. I did not send Dan the remainder of the money, because he never had a replacement animal that we agreed on. He NEVER told me anything about having a replacement blurry, nor has he sent me any pictures of such. The last time I called him, his wife told me that he was having a hard time finding another blurry because "they are not a dime a dozen , you know." So now I am just supposed to send him another $80 so that I can possibly lose more money? At this point, I no longer trust the word of Dan Duvall. I want my money back.

Let me get this straight. You paid $320 and you owed $80, or did you pay $400 and you owed $80 additional on top of that.

Let's assume for a moment you decided to go for the replacement animal. There is no way you would do that before seeing a picture of the animal and agreeing to that new deal.

I believe you have done everything you were supposed to do. You notified the seller of the death of the ball python within 24 h of it's arrival. You provided pictures showing that the animal in effect died. You were not provided with pictures of a satisfactory replacement animal.

In my opinion you deserve a full refund, including shipping charges. In this case as you did not pay for shipping it will just be whatever you paid for the snake in question.

I am sure glad I always check FaunaClassifieds before I buy. It's saved me in the past, though usually the threads I find are not so current!

It is a pity though. The "reduced pattern green" female I was interested in is a beauty, but I'm sticking by my policy of not buying anything frmo someone I find with a significant amount of negative comments on the BOI.

Sorry to dissapoint you but Im not 12 years old so dont get your hopes up. And no, I do not know the party whom you owe the $400. I am just a man of integrity who calls it like he see's it. Integrity, you do know what that means right? I know thats a big word and all, but it's everything. If you dont have it, you have nothing! Except, of couse, $400 that doesn't belong to you. But you already knew that, didn't you? Try not to spend it all in one place, Dan.

I hope the blurry that Dan Duvall has on KS is not the one that he supposedly purchased for me. The only way that snake would look blurry is if you had drank a little too much tequila! I would have never agreed to that so.... at the risk of sounding like a broken record...... I WANT MY MONEY BACK, DAN! Not the $480 that you said I owed, just the $400 that I actually paid you.

Your parents must be proud. You really need to stop getting your reptile information off of truckstop bathroom walls. I guess my other 200 animals will be dropping dead any day now. But wait, they didn't come from you so I should be OK. My arctic hets are not for sale and never have been. We breeders like to prove morphs before we market them as genetic. Maybe you should try that. But first, you will need to stop being a crook. We wouldn't want you to do too much at once. As for the booze comment, I'd rather be a drunk than a crook anyday. I really hope you don't reply anymore, but rest assured I will never stop posting or telling people what kind of person DAN DUVALL of VA is until my money has been returned. I never expected to get anything out of you, I just don't want people to make the same mistake that I did. Instead of a weak smokescreen, why don't you try being an honest man for once. It will probably do wonders for your business.

It must be nice to be wealthy enough to ruin your reputation and future business prospects over a small amount of $400. And now you start making false accusations stating that Tim killed that snake because of ammonia from his mice/rats within 18 hours after arrival. Boy you really are showing yourself more and more every time you post. Bad guys tend to make up stories and change their story with every post (such as you are doing yourself). I would suggest that if you want to be in this business for any time frame you refund the money to Tim and be done with it. We have already witnessed a minimum of 2 people that were interested in some of the balls you have for sale but will not purchase from you because of your actions in this situation. Do you want that number to keep climbing with every day? The only way to stop it is refund the money and then people will see you made right on the deal.

I always knew that there were people who were so selfish and spiteful that they would steal from others and still be able to sleep at night. But after three years of being in the snake and ball python business and buying on the internet, I guess I began to think that this was a class of people exempt from people like DAN DUVALL of VA. I now know that there are predators in every dark corner of every business. I am glad to know that there are so many good people out there that agree that an injustice has occurred here. To the one guy who rallied in Dan's defense, my only advice is you is "don't turn your back on him or trust him with your money." I will continue to post until my money is returned to ensure that everyone is fairly warned about the way DAN DUVALL of VA does business.

This thread is looking pretty bad for Dan.. Regardless of what he said he wanted, or how thing went in your eyes.... You have money for a snake that died 18 hours after you sold it. You then want him to finish paying the shipping for that animal even though it died? If I had done this I would have sent him the second female and eaten the shipping. You must think that sending out a dead snake is fine customer service though. I believe that Ball Python community is a rather small one and it is amazing that you would ruin your reputation over this. As other people have posted, you look like you have some really interesting pythons, but I would never take the gamble of buying from you. I see your adds on Kingsnake and I wonder how many people feel the same way. Probably quite a few.. Was it worth starting out your name this way?
