I find it interesting that when someone posts something negative about Felice on KS in the Indigo forum, he is quick to respond in his little safe haven of self proclaimed do gooders, yet he is still a no-show here, in this unbiassed forum where he would surely suffer severe scrutiny and incrimination.

Unicolors hatched this week. Out of eleven eggs 4.2 were normal. Other five were aberrant: more slender than normal, different shaped head, and much more patterned. Of those five three were dead in the egg. Photo doesn't really show what abnormal hatchling looks like. Last year only one hatchling in the clutch was like this.

What's going on? I kept eggs cooler this year. Fat Bastard and mate are siblings. Obtained them as hatchlings from Dan Felice three years ago.

guys, fyi---the parents of both your snakes are completely unrelated wc's. i got the male in philly in 99 and the female in havre de grace in 00. they are shown together in indigosnakes.com in an old photo.........

Still at large....

Apparently, he got nothing, and is still up to his old tricks! Serveral weeks ago I noticed an aquarium at a local petshop that had several hatchlings that appeared to be Sonoran Gopher snakes. They were labled as bullsnakes. When asked where they came from, an employee described Felice to a tee and said he originally misrepresented the snakes as corn snakes, lol. How shocking, lol. This story was confirmed at seperate time frames by two other employees, one of which confirmed the name Dan Felice, as if I needed confirmation. He represented himself as a local breeder. I wasn't suprised that Dan would consider an inappropriate environment such as this pet shop to unload his unwanteds. To date the snakes are neglected (underfed, undercleaned...). Here's the ever so popular and re-occuring punchline of Dan's joke. Although speculation, I'm sure that Felice caught wind of my knowledge of yet another of his seedy dealings through the grapevine as I've shared this information with mutual aquaintances at snake shows etc., and I found out today that he was in the same pet shop again, and low and behold....one employee's story has completely changed, lol. Nice work Dan. In any case, he is still at large and has learned nothing from the negative feedback he gets here. Dan, your gopher snakes aren't a very big hit. They're still at the petshop. But you predicted that. That's why you represented them as corn snakes, or so you tried.

I'm not saying that Dan is innocent (or isn't), but if you're going to make accusations, you should be forthcoming with any evidence that you have.

It seems Dan has stirred up the hornets nest again, many people are accusing him for selling "hybrids" as pure's etc... In the midst of this turmoil many have asked me to post the emails that he sent me in the past. Some have made accusations that it seems "fishy" that I haven't and hint at some underlining motive. Since it has been made clear by a member that this bickering and rumors may have a negative impact on my character if I don't post(kinda like a veiled threat) I have decided to go ahead and post these emails.
Apparently it was not enough that the detective asked me not to do so, nor is it enough that several well known and respected members have seen these emails and have backed what I said up 100%. It seems peoples curiosity in the matter out ways any benefits that could be gained from keeping silent. I do not know if there are any ongoing investigations concerning Felice.It is my opinion that for every bad post on the BOI several go un posted. So I hope this doesn't affect anything they may have that is ongoing. Personally I believe the matter between Felice and I is considered closed by them.

I then called his bluff,was able to track down his name and address etc..and I called his local PD, there were ticked that he was claiming to be a cop to extort cash from me. Shortly after I forwarded that email to the Detective, Dan had a knock on the door...Guess Who???? one ticked off Detective.
After a little chat with Dan the Detective then contacted me and informed me that Dan will never bother me again and if he does he is going to be prosecuted.

Over the last few weeks I have had 3 others as well email me and PM me regarding the emails, all wondering in a sort of insinuating fashion to why I haven't posted these emails...Just getting tired of Felice and personally I don't like being bothered by this all again. Lucille, if ever a statement warranted addressing, it's this one! You viewed the e-mails at this point. No one else who saw those e-mails absorbed anything but deception and dishonesty, whereas you claim to have seen something other. Please explain. In the end, there was nothing more to the story other than what Justin said. We all know that, just as you do, if Felice did, in fact, mail Justin a $130 M.O., he would have posted that evidence on this thread. Now that Felice hasn't done that, do you still stand by your absurd comment about there being more here than meets the eye?

I believe justice will not be done here until Justin posts what he sent to me and others via private email, and there is nothing to stop him from doing so. I do believe that the BOI was not created so that people could send secret emails around to hurt each others reputations, this is a forum of truth not a playground to assassinate the characters of others without showing why you are doing so.

I believe justice still has not been done in the absence of a follow-up by you, Lucille, regarding your position on whether or not Dan should or should not be trusted by future potential consumers. You are the only person here who cast doubt where no doubt really existed. Obviously, the only "secret" emails were those that you, Felice, Wes and the rest of his "posse" were sending each other. Your attempt to cast doubt on Justin's character was highly unsuccessful, despite the fact that you claim to be a "woman of your word", and, despite the fact that you love to talk about honor, justice, and the good people of the BOI. Show why you were "doing so".

I have, by the way, sent Dan several emails asking that he read this thread; I certainly hope that he does so and that both sides post their points of view.

The simple truth is, Felice threw a pseudo-tantrum to scam someone as well as threatened and lied. If the truth counts to you, stop the enabling by casting false doubts to protect your friend Dante. I have expressed some support for a few of the early positions that you took in this thread. I admit to some surprise at this latest post, both in part because of its length, what I have to call hair-splitting commentary, and rehashing of months-old posts. Lucille took heat for a few of her posts back then, and without looking I recall taking issue with her on a couple of those.
Some of the keys to good citical writing, especially in open forum, is to be somewhat brief, so as not to lose audience, somewhat timely, so as to be relevent, and somewhat restrained, so as to be taken seriously. It is not always easy when we are passionate about our concerns. But it is necessary, lest we allow ourselves to be easily dismissed. In all earnestness, I think you violated all three guidelines. My advice would be to also realize the futility in flame wars, public and private. Been there, done that, and know of which I speak. The concept of a need to get on with things, and move forward, is very time-tested. It is often excellent advice to heed.

By all means Thacker. Make sure you put it into context. I pursued Felice on KS. You, not suprisingly, came to his rescue and engaged me unprovoked. By the way, there is nary a sole who didn't know that I was the poster of the KS posts that seem to so easily ruffle the "core's" feathers. Other than your new-found comradery with Felice, you had no business getting into mine and went as far as to refer to me in a derogatory and inflamatory fashion. The name calling and attack started on YOUR end. I addressed Felice only.
